Lipton Green Tea K-cups are prominently displayed in the visual advertisement. Smooth Green Tea, cup of Soothe/Enlighten Lipton Green Tea, Chamomile Mint is what you actually get. My grandmother enjoys the Soothe/Enlighten, but the Chamomile Mint makes her sick. We've been buying the Soothe/Enlighten Tea for a long time, but the Chamomile Mint has been our favorite for the last three orders. The tea can't be returned, unfortunately. Amazon. The purchase price has been refunded, and the product has been discarded. If you're looking for the Soothe/Enlighten tea, this isn't it; image 1 shows what I got. The second image is the one that is advertised.
The tea itself is in perfect condition. Amazon is the source of the problem. br>br>Because I drink a half gallon or more of iced tea every day, I am a subscribe-and-save customer. What Amazon won t tell you is that more than 90 of the pods they ship are INCOMPATIBLE with modern Keurig brewers and will not work unless you tape an old, working lid% ones that are useful br>br>Amazon has changed the order of my photos for some reason. The left-hand pod (blue segment) in the second photo was purchased at my neighborhood market; The one with the black segment came with my regular subscription shipment, and it works perfectly. The Amazon pod in the machine is shown in the third photo, while the error message is shown in the fourth. What I have to do to get a glass of tea is depicted in photos 1, 7 and 5: I HAVE TO TAPE A WORKING LID TO THE POD EVERY TIME. In photo 3, you can see how I "trick" the machine by using non-standard input. pods that work well together br>br>I'll be surprised if Amazon publishes this review, as they've so far ignored me and probably don't want this information to become public. br>br>I've also reached out to Keurig about this, but haven't received a response yet.
br>br>After putting ice in a large glass, she used the Keurig to 'brew' her tea. br>br>She described the taste as'spot-on. ' 'on' for a cup of freshly made tea - with a big, bold flavor that's all natural If you need to sweeten it, you can add sugar or artificial sweetener, but as a purist, she prefers it to be as strong and pure as it is. br>br>This refreshing drink is perfect for any time of year, but it'll be especially nice on a hot day while relaxing under our gazebo! A glass of this will set you back a little more than a buck - It cost me around $1 to get one for her. She appreciates the change of pace - particularly appropriate for the summer! She gave it a near-perfect score of 9. br>br> a score of 5 to 10 on a scale of one to ten - There aren't many things that can compare to this!.
I've been very pleased with the Cups Iced Tea Lemonade. The most recent box we received was a disaster! There was no lemonade or even iced tea flavor. I would have given it back if I had known how.
Don't throw your money away. I was very excited to receive this item because I had tried a cup at my local veterinary office and it was fantastic. Because I couldn't find any in stores, I placed an order online. A complete let down. I'm not sure if this is a genuine Lipton or a knockoff, because it has no flavor or strength. The K- This was a complete waste of money because the cup is only half full of tea (I opened one). I even attempted to open the k-cup container. I tried brewing it in a tea spoon instead of a cup, but it was still very weak. This is something I would never buy again. I've never given a product such a low rating before, but it's justified in this case.
I had previously tried some other green tea pods, which were excellent, but I couldn't find any more, so I tried these instead. They were fine, but a little too mild and slightly bitter in flavor. I tried cleaning my keurig to see if that was the issue, but it didn't make a difference, and I tried adding honey to it, but it just tasted awful. I'm not a fan, and I'm considering tossing the second box out.
These are the k-cups that I ordered. Because this said unsweetened black tea and I know they're unsweetened black tea, I bought cups on a lightning deal thinking it was just like Lipton's iced tea brew bags. I don't like tea with artificial flavors or sweeteners, so this seemed like a good option for afternoons at work when brewing an entire pitcher of tea isn't practical or desirable. My package arrived today, and later this afternoon, I eagerly brewed a cup of coffee over ice. I was about to spit out my first sip. "Blech!" I thought to myself. " However, once I regained my composure, I realized that I didn't dislike the taste; it was simply not what I had expected. I took another small sip, a little more cautiously, and. . . I drank it all and found it to be quite enjoyable. I'm not sure how to describe the flavor of this tea- I don't drink any other hot teas besides green tea on a regular basis, so someone who is more familiar with black tea varieties may be able to give a more accurate flavor description, but it reminded me of chai but wasn't nearly as strong. It occurred to me as I was writing this that it reminded me of Pei Wei's vanilla chai tea. That's all there is to it! Vanilla that isn't too sweet, and chai that isn't too "kaPOW!" I'm Chai! "I'm glad to have something new to add to my Keurig collection, though I still wish Lipton would make a k-cup. " However, they do have a cup version of their regular iced tea brew. Le sigh.
Because I can't find any unsweetened ice tea K-cups since I got my Keurig a year ago, I've been ordering Green Mountain Black Iced Tea two boxes at a time. At the local stores, there are cups available. This time, I went with a box of Lipton Iced Tea and a box of Green Mountain Black Iced Tea because the Lipton Iced Tea was less expensive. I was concerned about the Lipton Iced Tea as soon as I opened the box after my order arrived because it was much lighter than the Green Mountain Tea box. And that apprehension was confirmed when the first couple of glasses were brewed. Lipton Iced Tea is not unpleasant to drink. Simply put, it's a shambles. It's so weak that it tastes exactly like plain water. Instead, I'll exclusively drink Green Mountain Black Iced Tea in the future. EDIT: br>br> Amazon appears to be combining reviews for similar products, as another reviewer pointed out. The Lipton INDULGE Black Iced Tea was the subject of my review.
