Was it PG Tips that you were referring to? Although this is a popular tea, I find it to be a little weak. Yorkshire Gold is a robust tea that makes a great English Breakfast tea. It's equally delicious with milk or, in my case, almond milk.
My large box is up for renewal on August 31, 2020.
Yorkshire Gold is blended in Harrowgate, Yorkshire, before being imported and sold in the United Kingdom. There isn't a version available in the United States.
This is sold in small and large stores across the United States, so I assume it is FDA approved. It's the most amazing yes I've ever had.

As a long-time coffee drinker, I'm making the switch to tea full-time with the help of a first-generation teamaker. This is a mother of Jamaican (British) descent. IS. THE. ONE. Perfection in every way! *6 Minutes br> Milk and Steep Sugar is a must!.
Yorkshire gold has an unmistakable flavor and aroma, and it is easily my favorite tea to drink with a little sugar and a lot of milk when compared to other teas. I prefer a strong brew, but with the right hot water, you don't have to steep the bag for more than 30 minutes. If you wait 45 seconds, you won't get any more flavor; instead, you'll get more tannins, which won't give you that smooth tea sip. I can see how it isn't for everyone, but if you like tea, this is a must try. However, how you prepare the tea can make or break the flavor entirely; my first cup was a 7/10, but I saw the potential, and now I give it a 10/10 every time.
I'm so happy with my purchase, and I'm glad I finally bought this Taylor's of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold tea for myself. I had my heart set on the one with the metal tin, so I had to settle for the second best. Purchases of tea bags would have their own designated storage area, ensuring that they remained fresh. br>This tea is a dream come true. Any other tea has spoiled me, so this is the only one I'll be drinking from now on. It has a lot of flavor and isn't bitter at all. I made it with whole milk powder and Splenda, and it's one of my favorite ways to start the day. br>I'm a tea connoisseur, and this item had been on my wishlist for far too long. I'm happy to report that it's no longer on my list. br>If you want to learn more about the company, go to Wikipedia and look it up. They take great pride in the quality of their teas, and they've even served royalty. br>Treat yourself to this inexpensive little indulgence; I believe you'll be glad you did.
The package was well sealed when it arrived. In a Yorkshire Gold tea tin, there are 80 sealed bags. br>br>Brews quickly; leave in cup for 2 minutes, or leave in a little longer if you prefer it stronger. Earl Grey is a flavor that comes to mind. I've been a PG Tips fan for as long as I can remember. Rather than being a breakfast tea, this is a tea for after dinner. The flavor is something I really enjoy. Tea bags can be stored in the tin as a keepsake.
I used to buy the big boxes, but they went bad faster than I could drink them. Along with Earl Grey and Lady Grey, this is one of my favorite English teas. For the Greys', I recommend trying to find ones from England on Amazon, as they appear to be fresher and more flavorful.
Best before the end of November 2019, implying that the tin is old, as tea bags have a shelf life of more than 5 months. However, the tin is attractive, and it arrived quickly via Amazon Prime and in good condition. Hopefully, the teabags will continue to taste good. br>br>Update: br>br>The tea box inside the tin was indeed old; the best way to describe it was yellowish. I went out and bought some more today, and they were good until the end of 2020. So, if you're buying this tin, be cautious and inquire about the expiration date.
Tea that is fresh, flavorful, and full-bodied. I followed the directions on the box and steeped the bag for four hours. 5 mins. It's flavorful and filling on its own, but I added half and half and some monk fruit/erythritol sweetener, and it was fantastic. The tannins are reduced by the milk, but I didn't notice any bitterness before I added the milk. The deep hue of red is stunning. Despite being placed in an Amazon box without a cushion, the tin is well-made and arrived in good condition. There are two different expiration dates, but the one on the tea box (the paper one) says 7/22, which is roughly a one-year expiration date. Shipping is not included in the price. day. . . took a week or so longer than expected, but arrived much sooner than expected. In the United States, the tea is brewed and packaged. However, according to the package, it was imported by a company in San Ramon, California. In any case, I could see myself substituting this tea for coffee in the morning.
It has a smoother finish than English breakfast tea. The bags are a nice large square size, ideal for a large mug, and the paper is sturdy. A tea bag that bursts open is not appreciated by anyone. The price is well worth it.
