I was hoping for individually wrapped bags when I placed my order. Not only is it not (Lipton makes a big deal about being environmentally friendly, but insists on using four heavy golden Mylar bags per box of 100 tea bags - Each of which has a metal staple that prevents it from being composted or safely microwaved is better for the environment than a small paper envelope), but this is NOT the same grade of tea as the regular 100 count boxes. To put it another way, it tastes like army boots. You might think it's fine if you soak your tea bags for ten minutes, but I don't, and while I've grown accustomed to the "new" tea bags foisted upon us a few years ago, they aren't nearly as good. When the new format arrived, I rushed around town trying to buy the old stock, but it had been REMOVED from every store's shelves. I still have some of the old stuff, which I keep for special occasions because it tastes so much better.
TO RESPOND TO A QUESTION, USE THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES: Individually wrapped tea bags are only available if you purchase a package of 312 tea bags in that size. The foil sleeve is used to bulk package smaller packages. I hope this makes things clearer.

These aren't the tea bags that come in a paper bag. The images in the comments aren't all correct. The gold-wrapped trays with loose tea bags inside are exactly what you'll get. Furthermore, if you purchase these by mistake, you will not be able to return them.
