Because of the nearly five-star rating, I decided to buy this tea. I was aware of the recent negative reviews, but hoped they did not represent the tea in general. Regrettably, the most recent reviews appear to reveal the truth. Something must have changed in the tea blending process at this company. When I opened the tin, the tea I received had very little fragrance. So I boiled some water, steeped the tea bag for 5 minutes, and sat down, hoping to enjoy a 5 Star tea. There will be no such luck. While the tea had a nice rich color when brewed, the flavor was bland! Lipton is far superior to this, which is saying a lot! In the future, I will only order Twinnings English Breakfast. I found a small tin of "Lifted Cup" English Breakfast Tea, which is delicious, but I can't seem to find it again. But, for the time being, you might want to avoid this. Perhaps a faulty batch arrived in the United States. Isn't the Boston Tea Party still a source of rage for them?.
I thought I was buying loose tea, but it came in plastic tea bags, which I dumped out because plastic bleeds into the water and then accumulates in the human body. I had no way of knowing if these were different in any way because plastic tea bags have been studied and proven to be harmful. In addition, they were quite costly. I'm not going to buy any more.
This tea is one of my favorites. I've been drinking tea for over 30 years and have experimented with various brands of "regular black" tea and English Breakfast. I first discovered this in a local bookstore and loved it so much that I bought more for myself and gave some as a gift to a fellow tea enthusiast. br>br>Try it, especially if you like teas like PG Tips, Twinings, Red Rose, and so on. br>br>Also, the same company makes an amazing decaf black tea with vanilla. I'm not joking when I say this - I'm not a fan of decaf, but this doesn't taste like it. It's also cool that you get useful tins to use once the tea is finished. On the other hand, I've had so much of it that I've run out of tins and had to give some away, so it's a bit of a waste. I'd prefer it to be done in a more environmentally friendly manner. At this point, there is a friendly box.
I make a few quarter-inch holes. They make interesting succulent containers because they have inch holes in the bottom. Simply combine a little cactus mix with a small succulent for a delightful combination. It's time to stop.
I'm not a big fan of English Breakfast tea, but I wanted to try it from this brand because they seem to make all excellent teas, so I thought it would be a last chance to change my mind about "English Breakfast" tea. I'm going to chalk it up to the fact that it's just not my cup of tea; it's plain black tea, and the flavor isn't worth paying top dollar for. Earl Grey, Paris, Victorian, and London varieties, on the other hand - Everything is incredible. To be fair, I give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
Harney has a great selection of teas to choose from. The nylon, on the other hand (? Teabags have been shown to be harmful to the environment, as well as to humans. Harney was out of this as a loose tea, so I purchased these. I discarded the tea bags after opening them and pouring the loose tea into a jar. The good news is that Harney is planning to release a bamboo-based bag soon.
It's a shame Harney and Sons Teas didn't exist when King Henry the XIII was alive because I believe this tea would have calmed all of his strange 16th century proclivities toward the macabre.
This tea is pleasant; it has a subtle flavor. I bought it under the impression that it would be strong, and that was my mistake; no matter how long I steep it, it will not become strong in the way I want it to be. It doesn't stand up to milk as well as, say, Twining's Irish breakfast, but it's still a tasty tea with a little sugar.
