It's a shadow of its former self, strangely and regrettably. When I opened the small foil packet, the scent of orange, cinnamon, and cloves was almost palpable (in a good way). Today I opened one, and there was no odor. I pressed my nose against the packet and got a faint whiff of it. The scent was only discernible with my nose directly over the pot after I put it in boiling water. I was desperate for that scent, so I put four bags in a pot of boiling water. Nope. This is truly awful. br>br> br>br>Oh no, now I have three boxes to deal with.
I've never disliked a Bigelow flavored herbal tea before, despite buying most of their varieties for years and preferring the fruit flavors, but this "Tahitian Breeze" tea is by far the worst I've ever tried. There isn't even a smidgeon of a fruit flavor, and there isn't much of a taste. Only a slightly bitter licorice flavor comes to mind when I think of the taste. I will never buy this flavor again because it lacks the typical aroma of most herbal teas.
Certainly not the packaging! Darjeeling tea, one of my favorites, can be difficult to come by. As a result, I find that purchasing items online is a good option for me. However, my most recent order (which arrived wrapped and packed in three boxes) was a disaster. One of the boxes was disconnected, and the other two were placed in my pantry. When I went to get the next box, I discovered that those two had chewed gum stuck between them! UGHHH. Look at the image. repulsive. I don't chew gum because I live alone. It took place in the packaging! I was on the verge of throwing up when I realized what had happened.
This tea is very popular among my husband's friends. So far, it's his personal favorite. It's too cinnamon-y for me, but if you like cinnamon with a hint of citrus, this is the drink for you. However, I developed a sore throat and needed something to relieve it; my other teas were ineffective, and I was feeling down. I combined this tea with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and a dash of honey - My sore throat had nearly vanished. I'm not sure what it did exactly, but I know it tasted better for me, so I'll keep it on hand - especially because my husband uses it every night.
Normally, "I Love Lemon" tea is my favorite flavor, and it also had some nutritional value, as far as I knew. Vitamin C in its complete form. The packages sold in grocery stores contain 100% Vitamin C, but these 3 packages do not do not do not do not do not do not do not do not do% I'm disappointed to learn that the tea I purchased on Amazon isn't the same as what's available in stores. Citric acid is listed as an ingredient, but no daily value for vitamin C is given. Now that I look at the packaging, it appears that I should have done so before purchasing. The tea I bought in the grocery store had the phrase "With Vitamin C" on the label, whereas this tea did not. I'm very dissatisfied because it's not what I expected.
This tea has been discovered to be very calming and is great to have after a stressful day because it relaxes the mind and allows you to unwind from a long day, whether you work physically or sit at a desk all day. This tea has the ability to calm your mind and restore your sense of wholeness. I've discovered that it restores my sense of self and allows me to sleep through the night, which has always been a challenge for me.
With vitamin C, according to the product description. There is no vitamin C in this recipe. (Bigelow sells a vitamin-C-fortified "I Love Lemon" tea. ) This isn't the case at all - It's incorrectly labeled "with Vitamin C" in the item listing. br>The I Love Lemon that does contain vitamin C is labeled "with Vitamin C" on the box, and ascorbic acid is one of the ingredients. Hopefully, I'll be able to upload a photo of an empty box that I purchased previously, as I now have three boxes of something I didn't want. I was looking for the vitamin C-fortified variety in particular.
