What distinguishes this pot from others that can be used directly on the stove? I have an induction stovetop; will that suffice?

Hello Michael, You can use the Green Apple Cast Iron Tea Pot directly on the stove. The construction material allows you to use this teapot directly over almost any heat source. The material is cast iron. br>Cast iron cookware has been around for centuries and can withstand open flames and hot coals, making it suitable for use on a variety of stove tops. br>Keep in mind that cast iron conducts heat throughout the entire vessel, including the handle. This teapot may be the teapot for you if you're looking for a durable vessel for heating liquids that has timeless appeal. br>However, as I previously stated, it is a difficult style of teapot to handle and has a number of significant disadvantages over modern teapots.

It's well-made and reasonably priced
5/5

I recently gave up soda and began drinking iced tea instead. I went to Teavanna to look at tea pots, but I was taken aback by the prices. Some of the pieces cost $200. I came across this one after doing some research and decided to purchase it. I was on the lookout for a bigger pot- This one weighs in at 54 ounces. If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably go bigger. br>br>The pot's construction is excellent- Porcelain-lined interior in heavy-duty cast iron They appear to be very similar to the ones at Teavanna. It includes a very useful infuser basket. I've used it directly on a gas stovetop before. This is something that a lot of pot manufacturers advise against. However, the manufacturer of this pot claims that it is fine. br>br>Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this pot to anyone.

The handle is a disaster - it's a mess
3/5

After only two months of use, it had broken. The pot is fantastic in and of itself. The handle, on the other hand, is a disaster. The cast iron handle snaps into two small recesses in the pot's body, and it slipped out both times - the first time I was able to snap it back in place - the second time I couldn't. The handle, however, was then removed - My wife was filling it with water when the pot collided with the handle of my stainless steel refrigerator door - causing a gash in the skin It was a complete waste of money because the pot is useless without the handle.

However, I adore it
4/5

I like how big it is, how functional it is, and how it looks. Nonetheless. br>br> br>br>At the point where the interior enamel coating is exposed under the lid, it flake off. It doesn't appear to cause rust, but the junk flakes off and ends up in your water, tea, or whatever. I sincerely hope it ceases to do so and does not grow into a bigger issue. In addition. br>br> br>br>I was taken aback by the fact that the handle does not move. It remains upright at all times. This is great for pouring because it's heavy, but you won't be able to fold it down if you need to store it.

Excellent value for money
5/5

I gave it five stars because, after looking in tea shops and specialty shops for similar pots, this price beat them all by a long shot. The quality is comparable to that of a $200-$300 item. $250. 00 pots that looked at it and will last me a lifetime! I can leave the pot on the stove for hours and still have hot tea. The color is a dark green that is pleasing to the eye, and the trivet is an added bonus that you would have to pay extra for in a specialty store. For its value and quality, I strongly suggest this excellent pot.

the ideal match My family will be able to drink all of the tea in it
5/5

We are a loose-leaf tea-drinking family. I make a pot in the morning and we're ready to go. I also purchased a tea light holder, which will keep it warm for several hours.

The Green Apple Cast Iron Teapot satisfies in a steamy way
4/5

Great teapot that is completely silent. 72 oz. A good option would be size. A more durable handle, perhaps a one-piece casting of the teapot and handle instead of an attachment. I'm looking forward to receiving some loose leaf tea so I can put it to the test!.

Love it
5/5

This enables me to make tea on the stovetop. The tea keeps its heat for longer and is simple to reheat. There is a lot of room. br>.
