It is not up to par when it comes to filter screens
3/5

Some years ago, I bought my girlfriend a red, large French press for her birthday. In the past, I've owned several french presses, but she wanted her own and loves the Creuset products. My favorite is a Freiling, but she wanted her own. Right out of the box, I was impressed with the design and heft of the Le Creuset press, and it has held up rather As well as keeping the coffee warm for hours, it is also much safer than using a glass pot. There is only one issue I have with the Creuset press and that is its A slight kink in the edge I got it with meant that when I made coffee, the grounds would escape almost every time. It may not be a big deal now, but it is a major concern I need to find a new screen since there is an indentation in the screen where that kink used to be. This unit is never even used on a daily basis. A hundred or more times a year probably isn't enough. I agree with that We'd like to hear from you, Le Creuset To match the quality of the rest of the press, you should source some better screens. I say cheers!.

It spouts coffee all over
3/5

My favorite part of the press is the way it looks. My reason for purchasing it was because it was beautiful. In spite of that, I agree with some My press has only been with me for a week, after which I thought it would just take some time getting used to it. That's not the case. Even when you press down gently, the plunger does not fit tightly and when pressed down, a great deal of coffee comes out. The thermal press I was using before may keep coffee warmer than a glass press, but it does not keep coffee warmer than a glass press. Considering I love Le Creuset and it gives me a lot of enjoyment, I will certainly keep it. My old press still does the trick, but I have no idea how much longer I can use it before I go back to using it as a display item.

In this case, the It was the same problem for me as for Coffee grounds were all over the place
4/5

Following several frustrating attempts of making coffee in it, I examined it closer and then compared it to another glass french press that I had. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the plunger was incorrectly assembled. In order to prevent damage to the screen, it should be sandwiched between the two. With the bottom unscrewed, I simply inserted the screen in the middle and it is fine. Although I have to be careful not to overfill, the grounds will come out of the spout if I do.

The design is elegant and solid
5/5

As soon as I got my hands on this press, my quest for a good cup of coffee took a step forward. The heat retention quality of heavy ceramics is preferred over lighter ceramics. This glass beaker press can be used to press glass. I don't have to worry about grounds getting into my cup because the tolerance on the press is I placed it on my counter and it looks great. Its surfaces are easy to clean. However, there is one warning A 27 ounce package means a 27 ounce package! much larger than 27 ounces (probably closer to 35-oz When used properly, this press can work perfectly if you do not overfill and press evenly. It may not be as big as I would have liked, but I never think I will go back to a glass beaker (Grosche or Bodum) after experiencing the benefits of this well-designed vessel. Ceramic press built by the author. This is what I'd like to do To measure my water (27 ounces), I put it into a Breville smartgrinder set to course grind. I raise my water temperature to 195 degrees. It will be almost as easy to make the perfect brew at 200 degrees as it is to make coffee that my wife and I like.

Wish I liked it, but I can't
3/5

Even though the reviews weren't great, I thought I'd take a chance because Le Creuset is a favorite of mine and they make great The company should, however, stick to making pots and pans only. piece of junk is a complete waste of space. There is an issue with the plunger not fitting snugly in the pot, so when you push on it, the grounds just rise to the top. If I actually wanted to use it to make coffee instead of display it, I would use less water and press very gently. It is quite beautiful if you want to display it, but it is an ugly design if you want to make.

This is an attractive and functional design
5/5

It does have a coolness to it, so if you're making coffee, you'd better fill it with hot water before you make the coffee to keep it warm, however, I don't usually do that, and it still stays hot and comfortable. I recommend heating Le Creuset mugs with boiling water before serving if you are using them.

It is a great coffee, however it is fragile - I have consumed three of them so far
3/5

I love how easy it is to use and how good the coffee is. I found it to be very easy to press and the operation was very smooth. As a result, I just destroyed my third one in the last five In the first two instances, there was a problem with the handles breaking off when emptying There was nothing more to it the handles hit the side of a plastic trash can. It was only a few months ago that the most recent one developed a full length crack, resulting This one was treated very gently by us. So, as much as I appreciate the functionality of the press, I strongly suggest a more durable model.

There is no problem with this press
5/5

My favorite aspect of this press is how easy it is to use and the nice look it has. The product is very easy to clean and doesn't have a lot of hassles. I particularly like how large it is, as it is perfect for our two coffee drinkers in our home and makes a great When making coffee, I have found that you need to adjust the time for the coffee and the water to remain together to achieve the right taste. It usually takes between four and a half and six minutes for the tea to brew. Buying a coffee press was a last-minute purchase for me, so my only complaint is that I waited too long to do so. Coffee makes the press an excellent coffee maker since it allows the flavor of the coffee to be enjoyed without bitterness that is sometimes associated with drip coffee makers.
