We contacted the vendor to ask if a replacement sleeve was available, and were told that it was not separately available, so they offered to send us a returned French press in which the sleeve could be found, with no shipping charge. Considering it was our fault that the sleeve was lost, I give their customer support top marks.

My only concern is that the vacuum insulation cannot be upgraded. The 16 oz bottle I have has a wide mouth. When I use my Clean Kanteen travel flask which is vacuum insulated and keeps hot liquids hot for hours, the outside of the flask remains cool while the interior remains hot for hours. My Bayka French Press gets very warm on the outside while brewing coffee. Heat is escaping from within if I can feel warmth from the outside, which means the vacuum insulation layer isn't doing its job properly. As a result, when I am about to add a second flask of coffee, it is usually warm enough to fit The only thing I wish was that the Press could keep the coffee hotter for a longer period of time. I gave it a 4 star rating for that reason. This would have made it a 5, but for that I would have given it a 4.

While I have had several french presses in the past, this is the first all-metal one that I have owned. The glass one I had before my last one was shattered and I just love this! As far as I'm concerned, it's very well made. Stainless steel is used in the design of this press. The coffee maker is super easy to clean, and it makes a fresh cup of coffee too. Photos are of mine after I hand washed it (I used regular soap - You should not put it in the dishwasher because it will get ruined on the outside of the vessel.

I think what makes this pitcher stand out to me is that it is all metal, unlike typical glass pitchers. There is a lot of metal in it so it holds in the heat (it's almost like a double insulated blanket). Due to its thick and insulated construction, it keeps my coffee hotter longer, allowing me to actually enjoy it. My overall experience with the purchase has been satisfactory. The first thing I can promise you is that I won't be able to break it. The only exception would be if I dropped it out of It may not be much harm if I do that. Construction is very sturdy cleaning is a breeze. The contents stay hot for longer. A pear was photographed next to it to show size. The press fits one large mug or two regular sized cups perfectly. There are markers inside the press to show you how much water is in it. No reason I shouldn't be able to use this press for a very long time if I keep it clean and don't drop it out of a window. It's just perfect.

I really like how easy it is to use the press. Prior to this one, I had one made of glass, but it eventually broke. Because stainless steel is so strong, it's much more durable. In spite of the fact that the outside of it gets warm, the handle does not. This French press is very nice. I like that it is insulated and not made of glass, so it makes a better cup of coffee than my previous one did. Being stainless steel and of good heft without being heavy, it is attractive and very well made. Because it compresses so well, it is a little more difficult to get the old grounds out. It is for this reason that I rated it 4 on cleaning ease. Two extra screens (I wish I had a better memory for where I put them) are included as well as a long handled spoon for stirring. These two touches are pleasing to the eye. It would be a bad idea to buy this product. A quality product at a very fair price is available from them.
