Questions & Answers

Can you tell me where this is made?

There is a label on the box saying "made in China"

The diameter of the holes in each filter is how big? In addition to stainless steel, what other materials are used?

It is true that both filters are made from stainless steel. 600 mesh is advertised as the mesh of the inner screen. Size is not measured by mesh in an absolute sense. If 600 wires are woven in two directions, then a hole will be between 20 and 40 microns in diameter, depending on the wire thickness. There are one millionth of a meter in a micon. I have measured the hole sizes of the outer foil screen, to my best ability at home. The width of a grain is 20 microns.

Is there a limit to how many cups of coarse ground coffee the filter can ?

In the instructions, coarse ground coffee is to be used in quantities of 125 grams. Using Cafe du Monde (pre ground in the yellow can), the weight had filled the filter about 85% of the way. You'll be able to make delicious, smooth cold brew with it! There are just under two quarts in the yield. There are still two pint glasses over ice in my cup, and in all, I've consumed six pint glasses. (Two Quarts = 8 Cups since this

Is it possible for water to flow through this at a rate of six liters per minute?

I don't know how to use it - it's super slow As a result, the holes are tiny and you must pour the water into it slowly to avoid overfilling.

The quality is great, the price is great, and it Taking the traditional bag method to the next level
5/5

Cold weather makes me happy, so I love it I brewed a cup of In addition to the taste, you can also get a cup of tea in less time when you need one rather than making There's a lower price difference between it and the K Cup brewers are easy to use, and since you use regular coffee grounds, it adds to the simplicity. As a long-time maker of cold brew, I've been using a milk nut bag for many years. I haven't tried brewing yet, but it seems like it works well. when it comes to cleanliness- Clean up isn't the best, as rinsing out the grinds and getting out the holes in the bag is a hassle. It did not take me long to choose this filter from Geesta after looking at numerous stainless steel filters. A rubber gasket on the bottom of the lip of this lid prevents leakage when the lid is on. It fits perfectly inside a 2 quart (aka half gallon) mason jar. Moreover, the flip handle is easy to use and enables easy installation and removal of the filter. There is a double-filter Considering that it is walled, it is durable and won't warp or bend when touched. It's just a simple matter of cleaning up It is as simple as rinsing it off. This filter is definitely better than milk nut bags, which I have been using. You will definitely appreciate your new filter - it's much easier and cleaner. We no longer have to turn the ground inside out multiple times to get every single grain out of all the nooks and crannies. In terms of brewing, it does exactly what you need it to. It has occurred on a few occasions for me to notice a very small amount of sediment (about 1/2 teaspoon). Considering the size of a two-quart jar, that isn't much. This can be attributed to the use of pre-recorded audio Use coffee ground in a can to make a hot cup of coffee. This is for colds If you want a more robust brew, you should use a coarser grind. I don't feel bothered by it. It is so fine that you can't detect it. It might be possible to pour through a paper filter, but there is so little that it is probably not worth the effort and this waste of paper. It is a matter of I would not have any sediment if I used a coarser grind- My only complaint is that the filter mesh is so fine that it's literally impossible to see through it. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. When you've never had a cold, you don't know what it's like In addition to instructions, it contains recommended amounts of coffee to be brewed. The results are great with this technique, which I have tested out. There are also a few recipes in it. The coffee I drink is black 99% of the time, so I haven't tried those. Whatever your level of experience with cold-fusion, this is your chance to learn how it works Regardless of whether you want to make your own brew or just find a better method, I do not think there is much you can do better.

Holds up less well than expected
3/5

The filter is effective for removing small amounts of sediment from cold brew. The honey sticks in the mason jars and is very difficult to remove. I wanted to like it more, but it is difficult to remove. In addition to this, the wire handle that comes with the filter is worthless because it disengages when you try to pull the filter out with After brewing a batch, I had to gently pry the filter up and out by placing a butter knife under the rim of the filter and taking care not to smash or scratch the filter itself. My previous attempts at this procedure worked fine for about a month, but the last time I did it, the metal rim around the mesh disconnected from the filter and stuck to it. The filter had to be removed with needle nose pliers (I managed to save the Oh well. ) but the filter is toast.

What used to give me a 5 out of 5, and how it compares to other filters
5/5

My experience with at least four of these filters has been good, but this is the best so far. To determine whether the coffee is strong enough, consider the following factors 1
Coffee type (Pete's coffee recommended some beans for cold brew coffee-- There are six of them) and the grounding of the coffee beans (fine is fine). 3.
3. Make adjustments to suit your tastes)
3. You brew the coffee for a certain amount of time. . . . (It is recommended by one of the customers of Cusinium coffee/tea brewing system, and the customer suggests leaving it out for 12 hours and then refrigerating it for 12 hours before using. I tried it and it works great. ). To compare this filter with other filters, here are a few examples 1
It's packaged in a box, which protects the mesh during shipping (I tried one of them sold on Amazon-- I was surprised to find that the mesh was crushed when I received it since it was just wrapped in bubble. It has been returned to me. 3.
Other fractals have the same width from the top to the bottom, while this one is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top. Other filters are shorter and expose less coffee than this one, and therefore expose a larger volume of ground coffee. Three key points. Compared with the other meshes, the mesh on this is finer. 4
The filter will fit a 64oz drink. The jar will not fit perfectly, the cap will not go down completely, but you can close it tightly. There's no need to keep it so tight since it's not intended to be used to preserve food - Wrapping the jar with plastic wrap before closing the lid is a great way to protect it. ** * 6. It is the bottom part that has the most beauty, since it is solid. They have mesh around the whole filter on this one, but not on the other one. By using a solid bottom, you can reduce the amount of coffee powder at the bottom of your coffee jar. Another benefit of a solid bottom is that finer ground coffee will not pass through the filter so easily.

As long as the lid is in use, it cannot be screwed on
3/5

This is a good idea, because the ultra-fine mesh doesn't get clogged up and is easy to clean. Specifically, there are two problems When you use it, it cannot seal the mason jar because it is meant to be used with a mason As a result, the lids cannot be attached to the filter because it sits so high. Despite removing the rubber gasket, I can't give the lid a chance to "catch"and I can't leave it open for long because this will attract bugs or spills. I covered it with Cling Wrap for the time being, but I think it defeats the purpose. Please note *br* The handle of the jar popped out when I jammed it in firmly, spilling all my coffee over myself This is (
. This does not include the 64 oz tall mason jar that I will be using with it. This is the standard issue lid for this device.
