Questions & Answers

What can I do with this? Are you talking about cold brew tea? What is the best version for tea? The teapot or the cup?

There are both tea and coffee versions, both of which are great. I love how they look. It should work with both the coffee and tea versions (the tea one wouldn't). Despite the wine bottle style, my husband and I find that we prefer larger glasses for tea (and coffee too). However, these hold only two glasses for tea and two for coffee You need to review 3 glasses before you can proceed. The difference between 2L and 0L is 2L. The dimensions are less than 6L and the footprint is slightly Why not have a bit more if you wait till the brew time is over. In addition to picked camomile and mint leaf cold brew, we’re hooked on this tasty drink!

Cold brew coffee made with this machine can be made to be concentrated, or is it just meant to make regular coffee that does not need ?

The following steps are to be followed If you choose to use coarse-grain If you have ground coffee, fill the nylon filter basket with it up to the top of the filter, avoiding the top of the filter itself. Fill a large bowl with filtered, cold or room temperature water. ***Leave to steep for at least 12 hours Ideally 24 hours, but you may want to leave it longer or shorter as you please.

Is it possible for the bottle to leak if it is stored on its side? Is there nothing taller than 10 inches I can put on my fridge shelf?

It is not necessary to refrigerate this to make cold brew, however I just put mine in the door. A counter is a suitable place for brewing.

Do I need to use boiling water for a bottle like this? I appreciate it! ?

There is a difference between the glass bottle that is rated for hot water and the plastic filter that If you use hot water with the filter, it will warp and be damaged.

You need this coffee if you want to up your game (iced)
5/5

The last two weeks have been very pleasant, you can tell it's the right thing to do in the summer and I am very impressed. A few words about the background first My company has transitioned over from Nespresso pods to Hario pour overs about three years ago, and I have enjoyed the changing flavors and experiences. As a result, I was able to expand my knowledge about coffee preparation in an enjoyable way. Various coffee variables were taken into consideration, including bean type, grind level, ground amounts, blooming, pouring technique, etc. It was nice to establish an early morning routine, to enjoy a little zen in the morning. As the water was poured, I watched the drips and the floating grounds as the levels of water changed. However, simply scraping my hot pour overs out into ice was disappointing - it did not work out for me at all. The whole thing ruined the richness, and it was impossible to calibrate anything. It even worked when I tried to make ice cubes from my coffee! Here is a simple little gadget to help you This is the first time I enjoyed iced coffee as much as I do now. As with pour overs, but with much less effort involved - this method retains the level of control over brewing techniques that pour overs provide. This way, you push your prep from the morning to the night before, making things For anyone who is 1) comfortable with incorporating a small little fold into their daily schedule 2) has faced frustration making an iced coffee that stays cold 3) is curious about coffee culture and how it works - please join us at the coffee culture conference. There is no doubt in my mind that this item is worth the purchase. I would like to offer a few personal tips and observations in addition to the others The following are among the services we offer 1) Cleaning There is a bit of effort and dedication involved in this. You will eventually clog the filter, it will cease to work effectively, or it will grow gross if you ignore it altogether. I don't recommend you put the filter in the dishwasher based on some research and experience. We ought to do it every two years instead Then, after 3 days, I put both parts of the filter into a large cup, pitcher, or bowl filled with boiling water and a drop of organic and gentle dish soap (Mrs. Meyers, Method). Tea pots need not be filled to the brim you can simply add hot tap water to your regular pot and brew. As far as I've gathered from others, this appears to be working well. Additionally, you will need to have a place to store the item when not in use, or while it is waiting to be used again. You should lay it out to dry rather than mustering up the energy to dry and/or store it with moisture inside. 2) Upper Rubber Portion - Remove mold by cutting into the upper area of the rubber. The top of the filter has mainly been provided as a holder. not speaking of the cap, but rather the larger wine-bottle shaped part. If you are pouring, do not just remove the cap, remove this entire portion, too. It is much easier to keep things clean this way. There are some people who complain that this piece makes it difficult to store in the fridge, but once made, you do not need it. I'm looking into whether this size carafe is standard and if it may fit a flat rubber cap (updates will The servings or amounts are 3) The Hario scoopers I've been using have been flat, and I fill them up to 700ml. Depending on how much ice you use, this will make about 2 large iced coffees or 3 smaller ones (on the strong side). For this reason, if you want to make a lot of coffee, you will need to do so in batches, and then you can store it elsewhere. A larger version of the Hario is available (maybe an older model), but even this is not significantly larger. I think this should be enough for one Depending on the situation, there is room for 1 or 2 people. A strange downside is that if you're having a slow morning or want more than your usual amount you will have to wait at least 8 hours. Because of this, some people keep an additional storage carafe no matter how much they are serving or how many people may be at home. The brewing carafe can also hold no more, so there is no point making more. Therefore, if you are managing more than one container, you should consider adding a second container If you host often or have a household of several people. If mixing batches is not an issue for you, you are welcome to mix different Brew Time 4) Normally, you should sleep for 8 hours each night. However, doing all this at 9 or 10pm most nights isn't something you want to do. It takes me about 12 to 15 minutes to do mine I have been using the product for 14 hours without any negative side Although, there is some liquid at the bottom of the carafe that is thicker and sludgier, but I shake the carafe before filling up with coffee. I can sip a little bit of that super potent sludge before I go to the straw to give me a little boost before finishing off my second glass. The following other sundry items are available The sweetest substance in the world is sugar There is a great Oxo chefs syrup dispenser set available at Amazon. Typical uses include storing simple syrup or liquid sugar (as well as sauces for cakes and cocktail ingredients). The best way to make simple syrup is to use water and sugar There is 1 part sugar to every 2 parts boiling water needed for iced coffee. For those who don't want to deal with the dispensers yet (or never), just put your regular sugar in the cup before the cold brew or ice, then pour hot tap water until the sugar is covered, swirl until the sugar dissolves, and you're good to go. To wait until my oxo set arrived, I carried on in that way. "The gooseneck kettle" is a classic source of geeseneck water There have been complaints that it is difficult to pour the water into the spout (remember that you must pour the water into the smaller hole given the filter setup). It is much easier to do it with a hario gooseneck kettle. If you have a hot pourover setup once fall rolls around, you are halfway there! A straw is a piece of cutlery that is used for drinking *This review is directly related to how much I recommend this product. If anyone actually made it to the end of this insanely long paragraph, it says a lot how much I recommend it. Overall, I would totally recommend it to any coffee lover out there.

I'd improve on the size and shape since it is simple and effective
4/5

The pros are The filter is very well constructed. It is tightly locked and the mesh is very fine and doesn't change or enhance the taste of the coffee in any way. If your grinder produces a lot of fine dust, you may find it at the bottom of the bottle since the plastic mesh doesn't trap as fine as a paper filter does. of them are normal. The filter will come out very easily when you lift it out to empty the grounds, thus making the job of cleaning the filter very simple. FLEXIBLE BOTTLE TOP, which allows it to be easily attached to and removed from bottles of most shapes and sizes. Although it has a good grip on the lower half of the glass, it is not recommended to carry the bottle by the top as it will undoubtedly come apart. There is a mark at the 700 ml mark on the side of the bottle, along with several other symbols indicating specific volumes. The cons are I don't really have any. I just have a few comments to make BRIEF DETAILS It would've been nice to have an option for a larger If you brew the next batch while the coffee in the bottle is still in it, then you can't store it in another bottle. There is no way to transfer the next batch while the old one is still in the bottle. I will note It is likely that you will need a funnel to pour your filtered water into this, as the neck is rather narrow (see Fig. I have no problems using the filter, and it is easy to clean by emptying the filter and washing it in the dishwasher or by hand as desired. This is one of the best cold brewers on the market and doesn't have any real downsides.

A regular user of the mesh may develop mildew
3/5

It is hard to clean without breaking the first, I was truly enamoured with this product. I used it daily for about a month before I decided to let it go. It's the same model that my boyfriend bought for his apartment as well. Upon coming back home, I discovered black mildew growing inside the house. Within a few days, my boyfriend also noticed it The mildew is still visible on my counter after I cleaned it with boiling hot water. Upon wiping it with a cloth, the mesh in the basket came loose, and now it cannot be used, as it leaks coffee grounds. It is a good product, but I recommend cleaning it with boiling hot water after each use and handling the mesh delicately.

I love work from home because it saves me so much time! With a small child, it is hard for me to leave the house to get to my favorite coffee shop
5/5

Working from home has saved my life. I love ice coffee, but going out to my favorite cafe is a bit too much of a hassle with a In my shopping cart, there were some high quality beans (La Colombe Nizza-- Recommended) I followed the super simple instructions and let it steep in the fridge for 36 hours. No complaints, smooth and bold flavored brew this is. You don't want to miss it! The moment I return to the office, I will buy another to take to work.

There is just one My favorite thing about this cold brew bottle is how easy it is It only takes 5 tablespoons of grounds and water, a quick shake, and an overnight chill to make *br>The unit is easy to clean
4/5

I usually rinse all the surfaces in hot water before putting a little liquid soap in the grounds canister and shaking it with hot water, then rinsing. When I forget to do it right away, or there is a lot of extra room in the dishwasher, I will throw those As far as I can tell, I have not heard any complaints about the mesh holding up or mold on mine, as I have read in other reviews. I find this to be as easy to use as my French press, except I don't have to add water to my cold brew and it's much easier to clean with this device. The only thing I don't like about it is that I have two large cups of coffee left Thus I make them repeatedly over a period of 2 days, so it usually lasts me that long Usually, I was able to get by with my French press, since it was more concentrated. I would have to add water to it, therefore, it lasted longer.
