There is a review that says the coffee is poor tasting, but I get a coffee that is rich, flavorful, and brewed in 24 hours. believe the most important step is to make sure the grounds in the center filter have been well soaked before filling up the rest of the carafe. By pulsing cold water directly from my tap into the filter, I let it drain through the filter into my carafe between pulses. The acidity and reflux in my stomach caused me to switch to cold brew coffee. The family member who recommended this product to me bought this for me. My favorite thing about the grounds is how easy it is to clean them. The bottom of any ground filter that does not unscrew from the bottom is not something I would consider. That was my biggest concern before I tried cold brew, but after using it I'm totally sold. A screw at the bottom lets you remove the filter for total cleaning and rinsing. You shouldn't be harsh with it because it's plastic. I am sure it will break if I force it. There is only one complaint I have the rubber ring in the lid. A lot of time is wasted trying to get it to stay There will be times when the whole lid will rise up when it is filled There is no rubber gasket to do its I love it. In my over night 12-hour shift, I do the following I was surprised at how creamy and flavorful the coffee was after 24 hours of brewing. There are a lot of flavors to choose from. Make sure the ground is coarse. The coffee brews well with this machine. Despite some reviews claiming it to be weak, I believe it to be extremely strong. Does the ground they use have a coarse texture? Primula is very well made, and I was surprised at that. There is a lot of thickness and weight to the glass. Since I had never made cold brew before, I put it off for a month because I was nervous. The situation was not a concern at all! It was the best coffee I have ever tasted, with a slight sweetness that I did not anticipate. I like it a lot! It would be great if I could give 20 stars!.
