Ok, so I confess, at first I was sceptical. Thankfully, now it's not as bad. A (early) Christmas gift of one of these was given to me. Here at the house we have a terrible sense of delayed gratification. The brewing machine I got for Christmas was a novelty. Regardless, I prepared my first batch with a lot of interest in the novelty of the machine. It was next level fun to make my first batch (Starbucks Pike Roast). By doing this, I was able to enjoy a luxury I usually can't afford. No matter how strange it may sound, the drinking of nitro coffee makes it taste sweet. I didn't have much luck with the first batch. As I take the show on the road, I will be traveling to different cities. This was the perfect conversation piece at our neighborhood Christmas/holiday party for the drivers, as well as a nice option for the passengers. I juiced). There is nothing real about this nitro. Don't even waste your time on it. Basically, it just has a little bit of foam at the top, not a real nitro creamy effect. It will still work even if you leave it on overnight. It is not even near the full capacity of this keg and you have to switch the nitro every time you refill it. My boyfriend and I drink nitro coffee religiously every day and this keg only lasts 2 days worth of coffee and doesn't even give the full effect. This doesn't make sense at all! Waste of time! This is being returned to you.

In a nutshell It's really disappointing that Nitro Brew isn't better. In lieu of going to Starbucks, I would have liked to have been able to have my own. That has always been my result when I tried it a few times.

As I received it earlier than expected, I had the chance to use my uKeg Nitro over the Thanksgiving Holiday! Throughout the whole package, I was impressed! You should note It is necessary to buy the nitro cartridge separately. It is of top quality and extremely well made. There was no doubt that everyone loved how smooth the cold brew was! Since nitro cold brew is new to me, I made several mistakes on my first attempt after failing to follow instructions. As a first attempt, I brewed coffee, refrigerated it for a few hours and poured it straight into the uKeg, still warm. I did not shake the uKeg while it was infusing. After tasting the coffee, I realized I did not use enough coffee and the roast was too light. Additionally, I failed to infuse the coffee long enough or correctly and finally failed to chill the brew With my second attempt I used the covered uKeg to place dark roast coffee bags directly in. I refrigerated overnight, infused the next morning by shaking for two minutes, moved the dial to pour, and it worked like a charm! I had a cold brew that was as good as or better than those I've tried at Starbucks. I loved its creamy smooth texture, taste and feel. Also once prepped it and kept refrigerated on pressure for over a week, it lasted me and my partner for a couple of days. Simply put, I found this recipe to be an easy way to make high quality nitro cold brew coffee. It's hard to go back to my old coffee maker when I have a new uKeg Nitro Cold Brew Maker!.

As soon as the second batch was sent, it stopped working. This machine does not brew cold brew nitro Coffee is spit out of the canister as soon as you place it in. Get yourself a Starbucks coffee and spend five dollars. There will never be a second time.
