They take a long time to freeze and cause your beer to overflow, causing a sloppy mess.

The execution was poor. Poor execution of a good idea. It's ridiculous how much bottled beverage you have to consume just to fit the chiller stick into the bottle without it overflowing. The chill on my lips was the best part. This item was neither useful to me nor appropriate as a gift for a friend.

They stay cold long enough for a beer to be consumed. This is a fantastic gift idea. The top of the bottle is slightly larger than the top of the bottle, but this does not obstruct the flow. There has never been a leak.
