Are you sure it's fire-resistant? It is inserted into a boiling liquid and then passed through cold water. The clear plastic hoses are flammable, but they can only hold cold water. Your query must be about a different application than the one you were looking for.

The only criticism is that it claims to have 10 feet of plastic tubing. They really mean that the two tubes are 5 feet long each, for a total of 10 feet. That didn't help when my sink was 6 feet away from my stove, so I'll have to go out and buy some more tube.
This product and company come highly recommended from me.
It arrived on time and in perfect condition.
It chilled 3 gallons of wort in 15 minutes, which I was very pleased with. It's perfect for using with the mash and boil kettle!.
This item is fantastic! The quality and results have exceeded my expectations.
The hardware that was supplied (stainless clamps and female nozzle) were both incorrect, so if the supplier "BACOENG" is an engineering company, they have a lot to learn. Engineered the fittings to be kwik connect fittings, and two and a half weeks later, after complaining to BACOENG directly, I received the new hose nozzle. After all of the modifications, it took 20 minutes to cool my boiling wort to 68 degrees. Everything works fine, but it took some time for me to track down the necessary components. This isn't something that should be included in the deal. I could have built my own in a fraction of the time for a lot less money.
The garden hose attachment isn't a perfect thread, but that's not a big deal because it'll just dribble into your sink/hose bib area, but the other connections definitely leak (even with the far too large hose clamps). Because those connections sit directly above the brew kettle as you cool it, you'll be dribbling unsanitized water into your cooling wort, which is obviously not cool, I purchased two 5/8 compression fittings and outfitted them with hose barbs. A $12 investment that is absolutely necessary.
