Allows me to add hops to the boil kettle without a problem. It used to be that I either used canisters or tea balls (which is a pain) or I just threw pellets into my boil (which clogged up my You get the best of two worlds here. Even though you can still throw hops straight into the boil, they have their own little section keeping them from clogging the valve and off the bottom of the pot. Having said that, I don't use much hazy pale in my recipes so I only add a couple of ounces, tops, but there is room.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to hop. My holiday batch came out very well after I used it to spice and hop it.
