This is the screw-up of the century. Not the stove itself, but the cap for a Trangia stove. Despite the fact that it says it's the cap without the ring, I believe the cap I got had the o-ring. It has a ring that seals it to the stove (preventing any fuel from leaking out).

If you want to travel with fuel in the stove, the cap is a great addition! This cap goes on a burner that isn't the lightest or fastest at boiling water, but it is extremely durable and compact, and you can store fuel in it while hiking. It's worth noting that after a few uses, the burner's performance improves, and it's important to leave about an inch of space between the pot and the burner's top for best results. A wind screen, such as those found on MSR stoves, is recommended, as is a stable stove/pot stand! Denatured alcohol is an excellent fuel choice because it will not soot your pot. br>In about 6 minutes, this burner will boil several cups of water (for more information, watch the YouTube videos)!.
Remember that this is just a cap and an o ring, despite the picture.
It's quite effective. When using an alcohol stove, the cap comes in handy. If you're on the go, this is a must-have.
