Since it is a hair (1/32" or 1/64") also slightly larger, it will not just drop into place, but wiggle gently and it will seamlessly snap I really like it. Even though I was nervous about buying it to try, it was worth it and just a few days ago we had Mercato cookie press (which we are highly pleased with) holiday themed cookies.

No fuss cookies

A decade-old cookie maker was finally replaced last year and I couldn't be happier. I replaced my old cookie press with a new, ratcheting one and bought this set to increase the types of shapes I could do. There is something so appealing about A great complement to the set included with the press, they provide a lot of additional information. I wish I had bought them sooner. I like their crisp, clean shapes and did not waste a single bit of material.

The holiday cookie disk designs might look cute, but they don't look as clean as they do when they're pressed into cookies

Despite looking cute and festive, the cookies that are pressed out of the Holiday disks aren't as clearly defined and sharp as they could be. A small amount of frosting must be added to make the cookie look like the disk design. It doesn't seem to matter how much or how little cookie dough I press, the cookies do not look crisp or defined. Discs from Wilton have better cuts and are easier to press out. When using the Wilton disks, additional frosting isn't needed to give the discs an intense look.

Every Christmas, I bake hundreds of cookies, and this is by far the best cookie press out there! We have found it to be very easy to use and works very well every time. My daughters agree that it is superior to other cookie presses we have tested. They will be used this year with great anticipation. The designs are lovely.
