I just finished using it to make the crust for a pie, and I absolutely love the flakier crust. You never knew such an easy fix could be found with a few dollars worth of tools. This knife is extremely well built, and the blades are strong and thick, and it is very easy to clean. If I soaked it in soapy water, food particles came off immediately. The pastry cutter is much better than the one I have been using that bends all the time with cold butter. With this approach your work is done in half the time and twice as easy as with conventional methods. The price is reasonable. So far there has been no rust after several washes in the dishwasher.
