This method works great for biscuits when cutting in lard. My friend Tammy was right - this blender fork works great with my Pyrex glass mixing bowls for cutting fat into flour and mixing chicken and tuna salads. Furthermore, I use it to flip bacon and fried chicken in a skillet, as well as to stabilize a roast as I slice it.
While I like the blending fork, I wish it were designed to be more like the mashing fork also available from RSVP. It has dull tines, so I do not agree that it is perfect for serving meat and cold cuts. metal fork is made of aluminum and can not be placed in the dishwasher and as a result, it is not dishwasher-safe. Unfortunately, the fork is sharpened so it could be used to serve cold cuts and meat. This one is my favorite out of the two. A stainless steel fork with mashing tines would be the best. Fabricated from stainless steel, the tines would cut through most things.
This is an essential item for every kitchen. It is one of the first things I reach for When making scones, biscuits, or other quick breads, the tines are just the right size to blend butter into flour. After lightly mixing the dough, the tines remove the dough from the bowl. In addition to other cooking needs, I use it to turn meat when it cooks. The lines on this fork are smooth, so it is easier to clean. In spite of being used every day and cleaned with the dishwasher, it still looks brand Since I began giving them as gifts, they have become a tradition. The man who cooks on occasion was delighted when he received one as a small gift at Christmas from my son, who enjoys cooking. There were few other instruments in the kitchen that fit the bill as well as this instrument. Every cook can make use of this item because it is useful and of high quality.
My 'cool' cake tester won over the attention of a visitor to my home, so I ordered one for her as well she loves it. It is a sturdy and accurate tester that I would prefer over using a knife (too big of a slit) or a toothpick (too difficult to see the Specifically, make sure the tester is upside down while in a horizontal flatware rack if you are using the dishwasher, otherwise it could get damaged by the Make sure not to poke yourself when you are unstacking the dishwasher The spouse is always the one who isn't watching what he's doing, gets poked 99% of the time, then blames me for it. That's all I will say. I have been looking for something along those lines for a long time This product will last a long time.
I kept it, even though it is not as good a mixer and masher as the RSVP fantastic fork. However, it is good for mashing things that might bend or break the welded great fork. The tines on this tool are wide flat and one piece. In my case, the fork was useful for mixing and mashing chilled almond paste into a dressing. It had no flexibility, so it may not be as useful to everyone. However, it is useful for these other purposes when one may need a little more may. It doesn't have a good angle for otherwise mixing or mashing like the other fork does, but it is useful for these other purposes.
It has been my experience that testing with toothpicks leads to overestimations Making a cake. Thank you so much for creating this product!.
The knife can be used to cut meat as well as hold it. Because it is made from heavy, good quality stainless steel, you will not have to worry about things bending or bending back. This is a great kitchen tool that is much more versatile than I expected it to be when I bought it (after watching a cooking show that used one).
The problem is that her diet must be mixed with some medicine, and she will have to do that for the rest of her life. I figured eventually my forks would wear out so I searched for a replacement. The fork is wider than a regular fork, but I like that. It is sturdy and I don't think it will get worn out easily! I scrape some food on the side of the bowl with the tongs and the food all slides off the fork. the strong shape of the tongs and the spacing between them allow for smooth scraping. Thank you very much for your kind words.
