There is no doubt that it's a good move I will probably use it a lot since it was made by an American. The pastry blender blade got bent when it was shipped in an envelope rather than a box, because it was packaged in an envelope instead of a box. It may be possible to prevent this in the future with better packaging. My message to the shipper regarding this issue has not been replied to, so hopefully I can straighten it out in order to save the package. There are no issues with the cutter, and I find it to be well made. The shipper is not a reliable one, and I won't order from them again.

It is a good idea to use sturdy pastry tools such as these. For egg salad, I used it not only to cut dough, but also to dice eggs. One blade of the single blade was for chopping vegetables, while the other is marked with food component lengths. By hand or in the dishwasher, they are easy to clean.

It was a present I bought for my mother in law who enjoys baking. Recently, she has been having more issues with her arthritis in her hands, so I thought she might benefit from this. Her crumb has become much more tender as a consequence, but it makes it much easier to maneuver. It is less likely that gluten will develop because she is not handling the dough as much. Her pie crusts went from really good to amazing when she added it to the mix.
