I have found this kit to be the best thing that ever happened to I found it to be the best price I had It was easy to open the packaging and the packaging was very nice. They were all in perfect condition when they arrived. In addition to being easy to hold, the bench scraper is also very sturdy. I like the quality of the buttons and the ease with which they can be used. I was able to get excellent oven spring using my lame and it was easy to use. I recommend this book to anyone who bakes at home, whether a newbie or an experienced baker.

To date, I am pleased with all the elements in this kit. There is a great deal of quality in these baskets (they are invisible among the ones I saw at Sur La Table and restaurant supply stores), and the liners are very thick and fit In my experience, my sticky sourdough loaves release equally well with and without the liners. I lightly dust my baskets with rice flour before I bake them each time and have never had an issue with them sticking to them. I was impressed by what I considered 'bonus items' for the price. This lame possesses a nice wooden handle at the bottom of the stick that curves the two-edged blade slightly, and it is supplied with extra blades (I think five), as well as a pocket that holds You can use the plastic dough scraper as well as the handled one, In my kitchen, there are already a few like these. A great kit for the price. It is of such high quality that I would give it as a gift in the future, to someone who wants to start baking bread.

School, life, and the fact that I had witnessed how my mother had tried and failed to do it (with me watching) resulted in me putting it off a few times. The great plague (aka Covid) that is currently spreading in the city has finally forced me inside, so it is the perfect time to buy bread while stuck indoors. As a baker which will be making sourdough bread for the first time? This is perfect! I was a little worried about the size of the baskets when I first saw them. However, they are perfectly sized for most sourdough recipes. I then floured the flattened Bannetons (I used white rice flour), and when I floured them I was able to pull out the dough very easily and nicely without cleaning and with the lovely rings still I actually expected only one banneton cover to come, but there were two! (I do appreciate receiving two banneton covers! It's really helpful to have a plastic scraper to help me get the dough from the bowl and onto the counter so that I can knead it (or punch it down), and a metal scraper works perfectly on the counter, because it's strong and durable. As stated in the description, the plastic scraper can also assist you in removing it from the banneton, but I've never had to use it for that purpose (as long as your banneton is well floured, I've never had this problem). I have had no problems with the lame Even though I have played around with it, I haven't had to change the blade yet. Could you tell me if there are any better quality ones? It's bound to be easier to find better quality pieces if you look at them separately. However, can we be honest? The breads are all good quality, and fresh bread, specially for someone who is curious about sourdough but isn't sure what style they prefer To get started, they need to understand). She ended up buying a different banneton, which didn't contain everything in this kit, and I am sure she regrets it now. I have referred others to this site ten times out of ten.

This is a set that meets my needs since I have a number of spare parts I want to use for sourdough and I wanted one set to pull out to I like that the baskets fit my Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven. The rubber scraper works well to get high hydration dough out of a bowl without leaving too much residue behind. And the lame is a nice quality with a protective cover so fingers won't get cut. This product is the perfect starter kit if you are planning on starting a sourdough breadmaking journey. Everything is of good to medium high quality and you won't have to waste a lot of time trying to find the right thing.

I decided to learn how to make my own sourdough bread and this set came with everything I needed to do so. A lot of attention has been paid to details, which is nice. For example, the bench scraper has a wooden handle. For example, the scorer comes with a cover for the blade, a nice handle, and In terms of the actual banntons, they are of extremely high They have a high capacity, which means you can make smaller or larger loaves with them. Although I'm not a master baker, the bread turned out well even though I released no issues with the dough. The product is good.

I highly recommend it! Here are all the ingredients you need to bake amazing rustic breads for a great price. The extra blades that you do not need to worry about running out as well as the bench scrapers that can be used to handle the dough are very convenient. My life could not be more perfect!.

I know everyone started making them after the Covid Lockdown started, but I've been busy trying to get my life back on track. After a little bit of turmoil my wife suggested that I try it out, so I ordered the round set from Kook, which included everything I needed, even extra blades and a safety cover for the Lame. This starter was given to me by a friend who is a professional. The baking was done in an enamel dutch oven. I did not get beautiful results for my first attempt (hence no picture) though they were delicious, but I know I will get there soon and this kit is really easy to use. I am considering purchasing more sets as gifts for my friends and family to help me along the way!.
