I'm not sure what the difference is, but I'm guessing it's because they're both made of high-quality rattan. Most other proofing baskets on Amazon are white, which is not the natural rattan color, so I believe the rattan color is also natural and free of dyes. I'm familiar with rattan because I lived in rural Indonesia for a while. 'I am impressed,' to put it simply.

They aren't something I use. I used water and rice flour to cure the baskets, and they work much better now that they aren't lined. They do have a tendency to splinter. Before each bake, I double-check the baskets for sprinters and remove them. They're fine in all other ways.
