It looks like the box has sticker glue residue on it, so I imagine it was used and returned, or that someone There is a lot of distortion and poor sealing on the edges of the baking mat. As you can see, the breathing mesh's holes do not go all the way in a straight row it stops somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 of the way along. There is a brown border along the top of the artwork that A small amount of crease was present on the baking mat. It isn't a good idea to buy it from Amazon since you are unable to see or touch the product. This mat is definitely made I find this product to be poorly made.

As a result, this earns a 1 out of 5 stars since I already own a Silpat and bought this so that the bottom of the bread would brown. As of now, I have not seen a difference in browning after multiple applications. Silpat owners don't have to bother with Silpain. Because they already own the Silpat, they are set to go. It is a great product if you do not have the Silpat, it is well made and it is well.

Here's what my regular silpat looks like in comparison to the first image. Compared to the silpain, this weave has a more open weave The air is allowed to move freely. There is no need to be concerned about its size, it fits nicely on my baking sheet. In order to portray the real baking area (the black area), I used a ruler. There was enough room in the container for 12 garlic knots, as you can see in the final picture. Golden and crispy, the bottoms were out of this world -- Do not burn or make hard- However, you can tell the difference between parchment paper and regular The flat surface of your pan will heat up more readily when you bake directly on it, and thus the bottom surface is more likely to be overcooked. There's no need to worry about that anymore. you're making cookies and would like a nice bottom like shortbread or if you'd like a more crisp cookie (especially if you decorate them), this will work really well. Be careful not to fold it or store it flat. Please make sure it's not rolled or folded. The cleaners are easy to use, and clean up in no time.

On it, I baked challah bread. I've baked it half a dozen times now and the bottom of the bread is always so dark and dark, the top always gets too dark, but the bottom of this mat was so good, I had no issue with bottom turning dark at all! The whole thing is well baked and there are no extra dark spots. I used a ton of egg wash on the mat and it didn't stick to it at all and I cleaned it easily.

In addition to providing a nice pattern bottom to my shortbread, it makes a lovely patterned bottom for The baking mat you need if you want the air to flow freely across your baked items! My favorite thing to make with these is shortbread The bottom of my cookies have a nice pattern as a result, but they also bake evenly
