During my cooking career, I have used this mat for many kinds of food, from chicken to cookies. It has been very difficult for me to place cookies evenly when I bake because I have always had trouble. Whenever they were together, they seemed to blend seamlessly. I have had mine for over 2 years and there has never been a problem. Although I only use it twice a month, but that is almost 24 times a year, and I have not yet experienced any problems. I trust Silpat since these are not cheap items and I want them to last for a long time. Costco carries knock-offs now but I trust Silpat for the long haul.
