It works well to handle hot food that comes out of the microwave and lets us take it right to the table. * * * The only downside is that it may affect the cooking temperature or length of time that the food will be done. There are several things that have been pre-planned Popcorn has been timed and does not finish popping when the Safe Grabs are removed, as it does as soon as they are removed. We have to maintain the cooking time of frozen dinners, frozen snacks, etc. or simply remove them during cooking, otherwise we're stuck having to handle a hot TV dinner and put it on the Safe Grabs to carry, which defeats the purpose of having it at all. You might not have finished what you are cooking if suddenly it doesn't seem to be done. Obviously, if you still want to use them, you can adjust the cooking time as necessary. It is not a deal breaker, but at least it is an option.

Exactly what I was thinking! We use our large microwave everyday. I always keep the big one in there. When plates or bowls are hot or slippery, it helps to pick them up and carry them. You should not use the pad for very hot items, because the heat will pass through it. However, I would have given it five stars if there weren't that issue. In addition, the price seems a bit steep. It is important to note that instructions suggest you let hot items sit for a few minutes to avoid this problem.

Is it difficult to decide where to hang your clothes Would it work if you hung it from a clothesline? The water collected from steam on the bottom of the microwave can splash onto your legs, feet, and floor if you are not very, very careful if you are using on the bottom of the microwave to remove a bowl. The bowl almost slipped out of my hand after I was burnt.

This is what I ordered, and I went back and bought The four pack set was out of stock when I tried to buy it. My favorite use for those is under flower pots, but I wish I had the rest of the cans. In my microwave, I have one of the largest sizes which has been very handy when it boils over. It also functions as a potholder that I can use to lift the microwaveable dish out of the oven. The surfaces that I use are on my butcher block work surface for setting things that have moisture on them. For instance, frozen foods and drinks don't leave standing water rings on my skin. Between my cast iron skillets, especially the ones with porcelain liners, I lay these down to prevent scratches. Then I placed them under my mini-tablet Rice cooker, individual coffee maker, and even crockpot can get warm on the bottom because those items can heat up quickly. However, if you set super hot pots from the oven on top of them and then move them, the counter is still warm, so you can't completely rest them In general, it is a very handy feature.

Safe Grabs is in our opinion a good product. The Safe Grab could be placed in the microwave under a microwavable container with food and microwaved. Our Safe Grab is ready when the food is done, and we simply grab the container of food with the Safe Grab and take * However, DO NOT PUT SAFE GRABS UNDER the bags of microwave popcorn, then microwave the popcorn! microwave popcorn twice with the Safe Grab and both times the popcorn burnt and one black stain was left on the Safe Grab after the first microwave.

It was our popcorn bowl that I placed the mat under its first use. As a result of the popcorn kernels, the popcorn bowl gets pretty hot. During popping, we spent one minute and fifty seconds bringing the popcorn to a boil. Immediately after the timer went off, I tried to retrieve the bowl in the same way shown in the commercial. Heat from the mat was greater than from the bowl of popcorn! This mat is a total disappointment, since I had high hopes for it. In order to return the item, I plan to do so.

I saw that these guys were on shark tank. We have to support the entrepreneurs that make America so special. This is new, and I'm blown away at how this hasn't been done before. In the past, I just wanted a cover/lid for the bowls I pop in the microwave so any spilling food or sauce would stay contained and that would make cleaning a lot easier What I did not expect from these was that they could be used These are things I use all the time. A single person. I am not kidding when I say today is a good day. The little one is perfect for taking bowls of leftover noodles or smaller plates out of the microwave and onto my lap on the couch (they're flexible and comfy to hold so you don't feel exhausted holding them the whole meal), and the larger one is perfect for the dinner plate. In the past, I used these covers as covers but rarely now- You can use them to remove hot contents from the microwave. I highly recommend them! Your kitchen will look pretty and classy with this creamy/grey color.
