Having canvas paintings to dry on a small drying rack was important to me. I am able to use this perfectly now. Setting it up was very easy and all you needed to do was lift the shelving unit into position and lock it in place. Adjust the height of shelves between each other. Because I haven't had to clean it, I can't comment on its cleanliness. It would be somewhat easier to fit several canvases on one unit instead of many on various surfaces throughout the room.
