OXO Good Grips Non-Stick Pro Cake Pan 9 x 13 Inch

The pan I bought with the hope that it wouldn't be cheap and low quality like the previous ones I owned. The keyboard does feel sturdy and good in itself, but I was mistaken in my opinion. Not too long after I began using it (particularly considering that I don't use it nearly as frequently as I should) I began to notice that the pan warped AND was stained. find the item to be quite difficult to clean (considering it is stained and things do stick to it at times, despite my best efforts to coat it with oil). After thinking about it, I contacted OXO before the warranty ran out and they agreed to send me a replacement pan if I returned mine to them. A new pan was sent to me after I made this request. They were fine in communication and I would consider their customer service to be good. As it turned out, the second pan also had the same exact problem as the first one. I determined that this was simply a poor quality product, and it wasn't worth replacing As companies more and more often make these mistakes that are simply results of poor quality or poor quality control, it is more and more annoying to deal with them. As far as I am concerned, this pan is still okay as long as you do not expect excellent nonstick results Accept staining and warping as part of the stick performance. it isn't one of the best options available, especially since there are more affordable alternatives that share the same.

Moreover, this pan is also very sturdy, much more sturdy than I had originally expected. I do want to stress that this product line is to be hand washed in order to maintain the non stick ceramic coating. This is fine for me since it just takes a few swipes of a sponge to clean it up. As you can see, this is my fourth piece of bakeware from the same series of OXO. You can't stick to them! It works so well that I've used it to make enchiladas, lasagnas, and cakes without using any nonstick spray, and everything always slides right out! Even the cake crumb crumbs come right off without any problems. The only negative aspect is that it tends to collect a lot of water at the rolled edges, so make sure you let that drain completely when you are done.

Although this pan is quite versatile, I am pleased with how it handles food of various kinds It barely sticks to anything, even roasts and chickens! It is a great surface for cake batters, brownies, and ramen too! In the event that there is burned-on fat from a roast, a short soak in warm water and a wash down with dish soap will do It comes in a pair of OXO Good Grips non-slip grips The Stick Pro Cake pan comes in a weird putty color but it does not affect the quality and versatility of this product. This is a definite recommendation.

This one was a miss for me, even though Oxo is generally great. The order was placed in November 2020, but now it is August Even so, I have taken care to clean it only with a plastic scraper, fingernail brush, or toothbrush, and I've not used metal on it at all. It is not just "flaking" that has happened, but the finish has actually peeled off and rusted away. My pealing has just started, but at this point it is no longer serviceable. I need to replace it with something that will last much longer. It was originally a great product for a while and my favorite pan, but I won't be purchasing this product again since it doesn't last very long.
