STURDY CONSTRUCTION WITH STAINLESS STEEL: The cooling rack is made of standard food-grade superior stainless steel, which is rustproof and durable. DISHWASHER SAFE AND EASY TO CLEAN: This cooling rack can be washed in the dishwasher and will not wear out or fade. Even if you have to clean it manually, it is very simple to clean; simply soak it immediately after use and use a vegetable brush to remove crumbs and bits from the cross sections; then cleaning is a breeze. UNIQUE COOLING DESIGN: The cooling rack can be raised by 0.25 inches thanks to the design of four supporting feet. 6 inches to allow for better air circulation, which results in foods that are crispier than those that are simply laid flat on a baking sheet. The grid squares on the inside are 3/8 inch in diameter. br>A row of 5/8 inch squares surrounds the perimeter, followed by the smaller squares that make up the rack's body.

In a convection toaster oven, can this rack be used as an oven rack (i.e., pans can be placed on top of it)?

Yes, you can; I have a Stainless Steel Lil and have had no issues with it inside the oven.

I haven't tried it in the broiler yet. It's thicker and heavier than other racks I've tried, so it could work. It might warp if used in the broiler, which is the only issue I can see. The good news is that you get two in the package, so even if one of them warps, you can use the other for cookies.

Could someone please confirm the outside dimensions of one of the racks? Are they truly 15 years old? 00" x 10. 00"?

The rack has a capacity of nine people. 15/16 inch by 14 inch 15/16. I simply used a tape measure to determine the length.

Rusts easily, but is extremely durable

They're a good size, but after one wash, the squares start to rust. After washing or removing them from the washer, it's best to dry them with a towel to avoid this.

Stainless steel is more expensive than cheap carbon steel

Stainless steel is definitely not one of them. Following a few uses, they began to rust. They're also magnetically charged. Stainless steel has no magnetic properties. Carbon steel is a low-cost option.
