My desire for a way to cure soap for four weeks grows in tandem with my love for soaping. (I'm impatient, to be sure. ) ) These appeared to be exactly what I was looking for, and they are. They're sturdy and can withstand far more weight than I'll ever put on them, but that just adds to their versatility, allowing me to use them for other purposes as needed. The only thing that would make them perfect and give them a five-star rating is if the legs could be locked. The legs swing freely if they're stacked and you pick one up. Soaps on the lower rack's outer edge can then be tipped over while standing on edge. It's not a big deal, but the extra stability is worth a star. I can imagine having the misfortune of lifting a rack with something hot on it and having that item slide off as the rack is re-positioned. put in place br>As for "easy to clean," there isn't such a thing when it comes to racks unless you put them in the dishwasher, so three stars isn't a criticism, but rather a recognition of the beast's nature.
I was looking for some cooling racks for smoking salmon and trout, and this product seemed to fit the bill. I was correct; it is adaptable and capable of handling a significant amount of weight. This is a quality item.
So I messed up and ruined my wife's other cooling racks, but she liked the look of this one. I discovered these stainless steel ones that are identical to her previous ones. I actually ruined the others by using them in my smoker and reducing them with super clean. The Teflon came right off when I sprayed them with super clean. These, on the other hand, I have had no problems with. It more than doubles the capacity of my smoker and is simple to clean. My wife is pleased because they stack similarly to her previous ones, and we can fit them all into the cabinet without taking up too much room. If you don't want Teflon, get these. You'll be a lot more content!.
I had to bend my Traeger smoker down to 2" shorter (1" on each end) due to its small size. More burgers, chicken thighs, or (corned beef) brisket can now be added to the mix. It's best for cuts that aren't too deep. These racks are large and heavy. stainless steel that is heavy duty (durable) and dishwasher safe.
I had items for several months and had used them. At least once a week, you should use it. br>I bought these to use in my steel oven pans, which I've had for a long time. I wanted to be able to lift food off the pan's bottom because some foods are better cooked in the oven. I knew the length would be shorter than my pans, but I hoped that by stacking a second rack partially on top of the first, I would be able to achieve the desired length while also avoiding grease splatter and having the steel lid come into contact with the food. It does exactly what I expected it to do in terms of reducing the sludge factor (food grease intake). ) I also ordered because the rack was stainless steel and had a mostly straight design rather than a lot of openings. Cleaning is made much easier as a result of this. I haven't had the foresight to plan ahead of time. spray racks before putting them to use; My bacon is stuck in a few places, but it frees up fairly quickly. After soaking in soapy water for a few minutes, I use a paper towel to wipe away the food residue. After that, I finish the process by using a soft kitchen nylon brush. The brush gets into the small spaces where the folding rack legs are attached, ensuring that all food is removed from the rest of the rack components. "No rust or other discoloration noted. " Stainless steel is supposed to be rust-proof. " I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would strongly recommend it.
These racks have a cross design and are great for cooking or cooling in the oven! These racks were purchased to fit in my electric 18-foot trailer. I used a portable roaster with a qt capacity to steam my dry-roasted vegetables. rubbed ribs, filled the bottom of the pan with water, and cooked at 250 degrees for 5 hours. The racks were a perfect fit! I seasoned and braised four racks of ribs, which I cut into three pieces. The rib serving sizes all fit on the stacked racks, about 3" apart, and the ribs were perfect! br>With the top rack extended, the racks are very easy to clean and very stable in the roaster. I also used them as cooling racks, and they work great for multiple dishes and take up very little space when stacked. br>I'm glad I invested in them!.
This product is ideal for cooking a large amount of bacon in the oven at once and is excellent in every way; the only thing I would change specifically for bacon is to reduce the height by 1 to 2 inches to allow for more bacon cooking in the oven. I could fit four racks (roughly 40 strips of bacon) in my current 30 inch oven at a time. Aside from that, this product is suitable for a wide range of baking tasks.
I would recommend this to anyone who makes cookies or candies!.
