There are plenty of big and tough bags in this line. When using royal icing, you don't have to worry about them popping. The cons are Getting the end to cut in a circle is the main problem. In spite of the fact that you can't prevent it from lying flat. Additionally, the outside of the bag is flat and doesn't have a grip texture, so the bag tends to slip when you are working with it. As a whole There will be no more purchases made of these products. As the prices were too high for me to afford, I was unable to obtain their services.
I am having trouble cutting a round hole even with the sharpest, most precise scissors in a straight line. Instead of a round hole, the icing comes out as a flattened line pattern.
The orders were for use at cookie decorating parties I do for children during the holiday season. For about a quarter cup, I fill them with royal flood - I attached a knot to the top easily so the kids did not have to worry about controlling their bags. An icing consistency and space for a knot meant that they did not have to worry about controlling the bags. It takes no time at all to cut off a small tip of the bag and the kids can then roll it up and put it under (or inside) Once the frosting had dried up inside the tip opening, the kids simply pulled the end to remove the crusted frosting and then decorated.
Using these to pipe royal icing onto sugar cookies is a great idea. A good amount of icing fits in them and they feel safe. So far, I haven't had a bag explode on me in the 200 bags I have used!.
Those piping bags are awesome! The royal icing came in these and I ordered them to pipe They held up over hours of piping, even after I put them through some intense squeezing. I like the quality of the bags - they are thick and of good quality. For the filling, I used tipless pens, and for piping the outline, I used tipped pens. Earlier today, I saw someone having trouble keeping the top secure on the bag. Use Bakelicious 73807 Bag Clips if you would like to use them. These are one of the best things I've ever purchased. They hold up well and are very durable. It is highly recommended for anyone who is going to do a great deal of piping to use these piping bags. Don't let this opportunity pass you by.
Having touched them I can tell they are not thin and they don't look like they need any eating Not overly thick, but thin enough to be flimsy. Those tipless bags are very attractive and I think I'm going to be very pleased with them. This review will be updated as soon as I use UPDATED The tipless bags I have on hand are definitely among my favorites. Rather than a thin, flimsy bag, I prefer a thicker one.
We tested these bags with royal icing but they failed to hold up. The bags I found elsewhere hold up much better and are cheaper. I would not recommend it.
