Although made in China, the product is of exceptional quality. I've got three 8"x2" pieces. 9"x2" x 2" x 2" x 2" x 2" x 2 each of the following springform pan sizes: 6", 8", 9", and 10.
If you look up the 3 piece set on the fat daddio's website, it will give you approximate baking times and other information. 10 minutes for small, 12 minutes for medium, and 20 minutes for large. These are, once again, estimates, but they are extremely close. My larger one took about 25 minutes, but it all depends on your oven. The pots and pans are incredible. You'll just have to keep an eye on them and check them more frequently at first until you get a sense of how they'll bake in your own oven.
Place chopsticks in the space between the two layers.
Yes, absolutely!

One was made in Indonesia and bears the PRD 83 stamp on the bottom, as you can see in the photos. This skillet appears to be of the high quality that I had hoped for. The other pan is stamped differently on the bottom and was made in China. The pan from China arrived in a different package and is clearly of lower quality (shiny, thinner, and lighter) than the other. (See photo) I ordered them both at the same time and they arrived at the same time, so I'm not sure how they could send two completely different pans as if they were the same. I'm returning the low-quality Chinese pan and placing an order for a new one. If it isn't the one made in Indonesia, it will be sent back as well.
I had no idea it had a finish or paint on it. It was my first time using it, which was unfortunate. Now I'm afraid to use it, so it'll end up in the trash. I'm so let down!.
tl; dr If you get the right pan, these are fantastic pans. Turn the pan over and inspect the stamp before you begin. "Fat Daddio's PRD-MMP Living" was stamped on MMP Living's pans. 83" - These are the ones that are worth your time and effort. br>BuyBoxer's pan had "Fat Daddio's 8" x 3" - "Fat Daddio's" - "Fat Daddio's" - "Fat Daddio's" - "Fat Daddi These are the ones that aren't so good. br>br>I made a batch of basic yellow cake and divided the batter evenly among the three pans, giving each the same Pam and parchment treatment, baking all three at the same time and temperature, cooling, trimming, and frosting all three layers. The attached photos demonstrate how much of a difference the RIGHT pan can make. Because BuyBoxer didn't offer refunds, Amazon's customer service came in handy.
br>br>On the bottom of the pan, the barcode peels away easily. On the side of the pan, the maker's decal peels away easily. br>The sticker on the inside of the pan is held on with some kind of industrial strength silicon type product; they only use a dab (thankfully), but it took a lot of scraping with my finger and thumbnail to get it mostly off. After that, a good scrub with a Scotch-brite pad was required. To remove the residue, use a bright pad and dish soap. br>br>The anodized finish lasted a long time. This is a strong testament to the pan's finish's durability. However, if you despise difficult-to-remove stickers on the working side of pots and pans, this might not be the pan for you. It's certainly not for someone who is too frail to scrape off the adhesive. I'm not sure what their thoughts were. Why didn't they use the same kind of stickers as the rest of the pan?.
Fat Daddio's pans are some of my favorites. They're durable, and my cakes always turn out perfectly. They're also simple to clean. This pan was purchased to be used in both a conventional oven and an Instant Pot. I spray the bottom of the pan with Baker's Joy and place a parchment round on top of it. I apply the cooking spray to the pan with a brush to ensure that it is evenly distributed. Every time, I get fantastic results.
This ten-inch pan is responsive. Purchases should be avoided. I'm a small-scale business owner. Fat Daddios sized pans did not react the same way as these 10" ones I recently purchased. I made a pineapple upside-down cake the other day and was surprised to see the pineapple imprints on the bottom of the pans when I turned it over. Some of the "annodized" surface appears to have chipped away in one spot. The thought of how much aluminum may have leaked into my cake makes me angry. I immediately contacted Amazon customer service, received a refund, and will be returning these items!.
I suppose a jackhammer would wreak havoc on the inside, but I'm not sure what would work on the outside. Only buy with NO STICKERS!.
I ordered a pair of PRD-sized pans. There are 92 9-inch cake pans in this recipe. Two different models were sent to me. For that reason, I was irritated when I first received these. I actually used them for the first time yesterday, and now I'm furious. The diameters of the pans differ by 3/8 inch. Because the cakes aren't the same size, I'll either have to trim a round cake around the entire circumference or layer one with 3/8th inch thick icing. Neither of these options is appealing. The seller paid no attention to the finer points of the transaction.
