I made an orange slice cake with this pan. I greased the pan with Crisco and floured it because the instructions said not to use Pam nonstick spray because it would leave a film on the pan. The cake was delivered without a hitch. I'd use it for pound cakes as well. Because I dislike angel food cake, I cannot comment on how well it works for them. It's sturdy enough to last a lifetime, in my opinion.
You bake a cake with your own hands. I always double the recipe and give one away. Mix in the water and bake the mixture. You'll never go back to eating store-bought food again. I keep a supply on hand, especially in the summer, to serve with fresh berries at bbqs. Eating air is similar to that.
This skillet is extremely hazardous. I filled it with cake batter and baked it. My oven caught fire because the batter leaked out of the bottom. This product has a flaw in its design.
My wife used it to make her first angel food cake. It was a perfect solution. Great product with excellent non-stick properties.
We used it with a standard angel food cake mix and got a perfectly formed angel cake as a result.
I'm overjoyed!.
Batter poured out of the bottom of the pan and splattered all over my oven.
Only time will tell if it will stand up to the test.
