Start by pulling the sides of the cake away from the pan with your fingers once it has cooled upside down. You can eventually slide your fingers down the sides of the cake to separate it from the pan, as well as pull from underneath. After loosening it in this way, do the same thing with the center (with the help of a plastic knife if necessary). Then, with your hand, turn the pan over and guide the cake out; it should come out easily. Metal utensils should be avoided at all costs. To clean it, soak it in soapy water for a few minutes, then scrub away with a scrubby sponge to remove crumbs and other debris; after that, a microfiber cloth or sponge can be used to finish the job and remove any remaining debris in the pan. Place the pan in the refrigerator to dry out. Done! If you look after it, it's a fantastic piece of equipment.
I found one of these cake pans in a thrift store and fell in love with it so much that when I saw the same pans on Amazon, I mistakenly ordered them. I thought I was ahead of the game and wouldn't need to order any more of these types of cake pans for the rest of my life, but after using one, I noticed a WHITE RING baked into the side of my scratch Pound-cake. cakes. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The enamel is deteriorating and baking into my pound-for-pound-for-pound for-pound-for-pound-for-pound-for cakes. Someone needs to return these pans in exchange for a refund. These frying pans are of poor quality. They should be taken off the market immediately. They get a ZERO from me! I'm having trouble with this one; I ordered five, two mint green, two red, and one blue to match the one I found in a thrift store. This is inexcusable to me. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Cakes stick to the pan without a coating and look nice with a coating, but I wouldn't recommend it. br> Ad is bad, just look at the pictures, I was going to return but it was raining, so I didn't buy it.
One Use! This pan was delivered to me on Thursday of last week. I used it once to make an Easter angel food cake. I followed the instructions and washed by hand. At first, I assumed it was just a cleaning issue, but upon closer inspection, I discovered that these are RUST SPOTS!.
surface to stick to An angel food cake mix from a box fits perfectly in the pan. After baking, it was stuck just around the top edge, so I used a knife, which scratched the surface. Ugh. On this, DO NOT USE ANY METALS. It's a non-profit organization. The stick coating is extremely delicate, but look at how lovely the cake turned out!.
On this one, it appears that you get what you pay for. It stated that it was a non-profit organization. That was a lie, according to the results of the tests! My cake was perfect in the middle, but it was way overdone on the outside and bottom. I had to try five times to get the cake out of the pan! This was used in our company, and I have a professional baker on staff, so it can't be blamed on user error. I'll have to start looking for a new pan now. This one is not worth your time. That is all there is to it.
This is a stunning pan. However, the cake was extremely difficult to remove the first time I used it. I've been baking for over 30 years and know how to properly grease and flour my pans, but the first time I used it, it didn't come out easily. Now, as you can see in my photos, I'm noticing that some paint has already come off the pan this second time around. Because I don't have a dishwasher, I've only ever washed this pan by hand with a cloth, soap, and water, and nothing abrasive; I don't think this pan will last very long.
This is a very sturdy pan. It's well-made. It's called an angel food cake pan, but it only comes in one piece, not two, as most angel food pans do. This is the type of one-piece pan that my Mama and many other southern women use for pound cake, and it's shaped like an angle food pan. That is why we purchased it, and it performs admirably.
