Hi Lei, the pan is made out of three separate pieces, just as shown in the photo. To allow the beaten egg whites to rise in the baked food, angelfood cakes should be baked in a regular pan (not a silicone or nonstick finish). Greased or slick sides result in a heavy and thick product, not a light and airy result. A cooking angel food needs a handle to grab on to in order to function As a result, if the pan is made in one piece, it can be quite difficult to get it out of the pan without it baking, get a sharp knife with straight blades like a bread knife and a tall glass of water (I remember my grandmother turning her fresh out of the oven cake upside down on a soda bottle to cool), then after cooling, slice into one long piece of each piece. You can repeat this process for that inner tube as well. The product may need to be rinsed and then reapplied Using a wet blade will help. As soon as that is finished, the cake can be taken out of the The knife should be used gently to separate the bottom of the pan from the sides. After removing the cake from the pan, it can be frosted, filled or garnished as desired. There is no limit to what you can do with the variety. You could use the extra bottom if you wanted to bake a round loaf of bread in the pan. Having several options for an item and finding new uses for it is admirable and beneficial. Take care of your pan and enjoy it! I am sending you warm hugs & best wishes I'm like a dog with a fluffy tail, Maggie & Co The dog I have as a service dog

This piece is meant to be used in conjunction with others. The flat plate should go in the pan, then the tube section should be placed on top of it. What kind of grease did you use? It is possible for the batter to slither out of the bottom of the pan without grease. Take a break from the pan and enjoy it! Maggie

The 6" pan I purchased was a great buy. Exterior measurements of the pan were 5 3/4" wide (origin) x 6 3/4" tall (top) x 2 3/4" tall (height). At its highest point, it can hold about four and a half cups. I've found it to be a very sturdy and reliable product The pan is built well and looks good. There is only one problem that I see that, while the bottom-line is still in the black The plate (without the tube) fits perfectly, but the bottom does not fit at all It is too small to fit the tube in the plate. Is it better to put the bottom down or not The plate (without the tube underneath) was too small whether or not it had the tube below. You shouldn't have too much trouble as long as your batter isn't too thin. There was a problem with this product, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating.
It measures 17 cm on top and 14 cm on the bottom. Although I was hoping it would fit with my 17cm mold's Japanese chiffon cake recipe, it was a bit too big. Ideally, you would use a 15cm mold to make the recipe.
The 7-inch diameter is just perfect. Because the pan has a removable tube bottom as well as a plain bottom, you can bake chiffon cakes and other types of cakes in it. This pan is sturdy, thick and not too heavy thanks to the metal.
My favorite thing to make with this pan has been chiffon cake! The only thing I can compare it to is a homemade ramekin and springform substitute, which isn't comparable, since it's the only tube pan I own. Three people can be comfortably accommodated in an 8" dish. The flat bottom for cheesecakes and the like has not been used yet since I do not make many of those things.
It is the perfect size for my recipe, and it is easy to clean. The second set is on its way! I think the price is reasonable. I highly recommend this book!.
