"No Range Top or Broiler" is written on the bottom of the bowl, indicating that it should be fine to use in the oven. Just not in front of a naked flame.
It isn't made of borosilicate glass at all. It's made of heat-strengthened soda lime glass, according to the label. It is heat resistant, according to the manufacturer.

My decades-old collection was down to just two pieces. When dropped from cabinet height onto ceramic, some of the pieces broke. Others gave up or simply left, exhausted. This new set is heavier, weighing 157 rams compared to 104 rams in the previous set. These Pyrex cups are Pyrex, as shown in the photo. They're also manufactured in the United States of America. br>I'm happy, satisfied, and at 90, I'm unlikely to need to buy anything else.
miniatures are a great way to start your day. Pyrex cups remind me of the ones I used to have as a kid. They're the ideal size for a scoop of ice cream, a serving of fruit, children's snacks, or storing cooking ingredients. This product appealed to me because it included two sets of four cups (for a total of eight cups) and was less expensive than purchasing two separate sets. They were safely packaged in bubble wrap and arrived in perfect condition on my doorstep. There will be no second chances. It comes highly recommended!.
These aren't "prepware," which means they're not ready to use right away. Instead of borosilicate glass (real "Pyrex"), "strengthened" soda lime glass was used. Furthermore, despite the fact that the advertisement claims that these are made in the United States and come with a two-year warranty, they are actually made in Egypt! I'm disappointed, but I'm not sure what I've used in the past is still available.
I was relieved to be able to replace a larger number of them. I'm very pleased with these because they are a hard to find item.
These are some of my go-to miso dishes. I'm in a new place, and I'm trying to keep my snack intake under control Stores have been difficult to come by recently.
To replace really old, scuffed up custard cups, I found these lovely clear custard cups. I placed an order for two four-piece sets. One set's top cup had completely broken. When opened as a Christmas present, there is broken glass all over the place.
I needed to replace my original 6 oz Pyrex corning custard cups, which were much heavier and shaped similarly. They are made in Egypt, not the United States of America. They're not made of true borosilicate glass, but of soda lime glass, which is said to be heat resistant.
Durable, safe to use in the kitchen and in the dishwasher, and unlike plastic, it does not release gas into the food.
