I read several reviews and dismissed the negative ones, assuming they were a fluke. I rarely leave negative reviews, and I had intended to share my Amazon link for this product with my followers as part of my daughter's bedroom makeover. Because the positive reviews outweighed the negative ones, I decided to give it a try. br>br>I'm not going to tell my followers about this product. It's a complete and total waste of time! It broke off the moment I unscrewed it to hang curtains, and I couldn't screw it back on because it was stripped. br>br>The screws and anchors that came with the rod were also junk. I'm dissatisfied because they're so lovely. However, if you buy after January 1, 2020, they may have changed the quality.
I really like how it turned out. They catch the light and glisten. When you don't want to spend a lot of money, they're a great option for a big window. My only suggestion (to improve directions) is to figure out how to connect three rods for option C on the diagram (widest width). For the price, it's quite sturdy, but as expected, more expensive options would be more so. I have two 100-inch themal panels that are holding up nicely.
I bought this set because of the length, but I can't wear it because it's too short! The middle extender is the wrong size and does not fit. The ends of the two thicker rods already have finials on them, but they are cut to the same size as the extenders. Only one end of the thinner rods fits an extender; the other end is used to screw in a finial!.
It was difficult for me to install to the advertised maximum length. The ends of the balls were loose, and two of them completely fell off and began to chip. They'll suffice for the time being, but I'm sure I'll have to replace them sooner or later. They served as outdoor curtains for me. I'm not going to buy it again. I don't think they'll hold up to the weight of the curtains (which are light-weight) over time, as you can see in this photo. weight).
What a dreadful piece of scum. The pole sags in the middle due to the thinness of the metal. I've been fighting with this seller to get my money back because the balls look like they were put together by a toddler, and one of them is completely broken.
My dissatisfaction with the rods was assembling the extension rods, and when I read the reviews, I discovered I wasn't alone. The issue is that the rods are packaged with two finials attached to two rods, leading one to believe that these are the end rods and the third rod in the package is the extension. Wrong. Look at the rods and choose the thinnest one to remove the filial from. That's the extension rod you're looking at. The finial should be attached to the remaining rod and the extension should work. This product requires either new packaging or instructions for rod assembly.
This is stunning! One of the ends has a small chipped paint spot, but it's hidden by the fact that I turned it towards the wall. They are extremely durable and well-packaged. They included a plethora of extra drywall anchors, screws, and brackets. Trying to get the drywall anchors into the wall, we broke nearly all of them. Thankfully, we have a box of drywall anchors (not just the ones you hammer into the wall) with screw-like threading on the outside. Using the anchors we had on hand made installation go much faster. br>br>Highly recommended. It was well worth the money, and it was stunning.
I bought two of these because they were lovely. When they arrived, the box appeared to be slightly shattered, but not to the point of suspicion. Then there was the time when we were going to hang them. Glass mosaic balls protruded from the ends of the rods. which led me to believe that this was the case. It turns out that it isn't the case. Small glass pieces began to fall out, so I used super glue to adhere the globes to the metal pieces. I'm still undecided about whether or not I'll put them to use.
