In general, I'm very happy. It appears to be both attractive and durable. These were purchased to be used as a covering for my patio sliding doors. I wanted something sturdy enough that I wouldn't have to use the middle bracket, so I could pull the curtains all the way across without having to stop halfway. It's ideal for this, and even without the middle bracket, it's quite sturdy. I'm not sure, but the screws could have been made of aluminum. One snapped off, and many others refused to go into studs without being pre-drilled. Get some sheetrock screws; they worked much better and didn't require any pre-drilling. Use caution when handling the base bracket, as the black will easily scratch off.

When it comes to a rod shorter than 120 inches, the ad's header is incorrect. It measures between 98 and 144 inches in length. I simply cut the rod down with a hacksaw and a file for one of my shorter windows; they're great rods and very sturdy. If you don't want to take the rod apart every time you clean your drapes, clip rings are a great option. To make things easier, I used 2" rings. Install the drapes first, with the rings already attached. I also installed it with the center support hanging loose (on the rod) before leveling and screwing it in once the ends were in place. It's much easier to get it right the first time. br>I was so pleased with them that I used them throughout the house. I like the simplicity and appearance, and they appear to be well-made. They'll keep my shears and velvet drapes safe.

I purchased a large pair of drapes, and the first rods I purchased nearly collapsed under their weight. I saw these rods and decided to order them because they are both functional and attractive.

This curtain rod has a really nice look to it. It's a fantastic addition to any room's design, and it can really make a difference. Assembly was a chore for me. Our window measures 108 inches in length. The instructions state that it should take 48 hours to complete. Two rods can be used for a total length of 88 inches. 72- 144? Can make use of number three. As a result, we had to cut about an inch off the rod to make it fit with the base placements. Ours must be in such a strange measurement that it simply won't work. It was a real pain, but we got it done, and it turned out beautifully. I just wish the assembly process was a little more simple and straightforward.

We ordered three sizes so that we could use them on our screened-in porch. The 72- 28" x 144" Both the 48" and the 48" were fantastic. All of the pipe was delivered in separate pieces, and the screws were in perfect working order. The 48- The story in "84" was a little different. The flanges were different (plain with no writing) and the flange to the corner was all one piece rather than multiple pieces. Because we couldn't screw/unscrew the corner to better line up with the other side, we had to be more precise with how we attached them to the ceiling. Also, the screws were TERRIBLE; We ended up going to the store to get some that were a little better. br>br>To distinguish the screws, look for a smooth head on the good ones and a grid-like pattern on the bad ones. If you notice something that looks like texture on the head, you should go to the hardware store.

When I informed them that one of the threads had been stripped, they did not respond. br>br>I ended up tapping new threads on both parts and putting a new 1" stud into it so I could assemble the rod; hopefully it just stays there forever because otherwise it will confuse someone down the road. br>br>Also, if installing into drywall (or better screws if installing into something solid), do yourself a favor and buy better drywall anchors (or better screws if installing into something solid) because these ones are junk - Curtains of any significant mass will be ripped out by them. These anchors failed to hold my heavy blackout curtains. br>br>There are also missing steps in the instructions, but they aren't necessary. Apart from the issue with poor quality control, assembly was extremely easy and only took a few minutes.

That was exactly what I was looking for. These curtain rods were simple to install; I was able to do one on a 139" window and two on 48" windows in a couple of hours. br>The rods and hardware are metal, but not overly so. They appear to be in good condition. I used 2" clip rings to attach the curtains to the long rod, so I don't have to take down the entire rod when I want to change or wash the curtains. They were also a great value for the quality of the rods, in my opinion. I'm very pleased with the results and plan to order more when I'm ready to tackle some other rooms.

This curtain rod appealed to me because it was advertised as both a room divider and a curtain rod. It claims to be compatible with windows 66-inch and up. With a rod that can be 72" long, the total length is 120". 144". That isn't correct. The rod is made up of three sections, the smallest of which is approximately 54 inches long. With only one curtain, this isn't much of a room divider. It won't be stable enough without the additional support piece if it's spread out to 75". Because I'm only using one curtain, it won't be as effective as I had hoped.
