smaller version has a length range of 26" to 48" so that it can be adjusted low to long. A "rod" is made up of two parts, one rod being slightly smaller in diameter than the other, in order to allow it to be slid into the other rod. In total, the two rods are probably about 48" long when inserted together, but when they are inverted, they can be pulled apart so that the outward length is probably approximately 26". As a result, there is a 4" overlap of the two rods, thus making the extension stronger. My larger version was able to fit a 92" window because it can be extended.
A "double set" is actually a large rod and two smaller rods stacked. The length of the one can be adjusted by inserting it inside the other. As a result, this smaller one adjusts from roughly 26" to 48", although I think it can stretch ever so slightly

There are 46 square feet of glass in my window. The material is described as expanding to 5", although it does not do so without the presence of shakiness. It's not sturdy enough to be able to open and close your curtains without it falling apart. Would need another piece to connect between them for more length and durability. This means you might have to spend more money at your local hardware store, or you might return it and buy something great instead. I have purchased better products for the same price at Menards, Home Depot, and other places It does not matter where you shop.
These are the ones I installed I like this a lot. Though the rods aren't very large in diameter, they are still perfect for what I need them The windows are covered with insulated drapes and sheers. Together with my new curtains, these added a bit of elegance to my room.
First of all, for the price you pay, it's more than you can expect. Moreover, you just leave this one alone and do not touch it again, so it appears to be more money than it really is. Normally I would purchase them for $40 each, but since I found one for $30, I've decided to switch. The product is good for the price, but its quality is definitely not the best. While the metal itself seems well made, the construction isn't as good as it could have been. There will be a stabilizer for the middle to add extra support. I like the rods, even if they are a little bulky.

Because I'm an artist, I had plenty of paint on hand and I spray painted the white coat over them. They look very cheap. Be sure to have spray paint on hand so that you can personalize them.
