While I did not count the exact number, I did sort them by letter/number and found that I had a lot of some letters but none of others, so I assume it's just a random assortment.

Because the characters are at least half numbers, this isn't useful unless you're displaying the value of pi. The image depicts the container's number of numbers. All letters are equally represented, which is beneficial to democracy but detrimental to the creation of words or names. As a result, vowels and commonly used letters are in short supply. This is not a game like Scrabble or Wheel of Fortune. I spent $40 on two sets and they were still insufficient for 25 children. I WILL NOT BE BUYING THIS AGAIN! The product is of good quality, but it is NOT adhesive! br>br>THE PHOTOS ONLY SHOW THE NUMBERS IN THE CARTON. To be fair, I even gave it a good shake for a minute to settle it down!.
I buy this brand all the time because I work for a museum and it is perfect in every way. There are numerous numbers and letters to choose from. I'm deducting one star because there aren't many 6s and 9s in the book. But not by a long shot.
