However, no amount of clapping, yelling, or baby crying ever got the cry sensor to go off. NOTHING. So I'd leave the room after pressing the owl's wing to start a lullaby. Despite the fact that the baby was sound asleep, I'd hear it playing on the monitor, and it would eventually wake him up. I decided to put it to the test during the day, with various sound conditions, and the lullaby would play for 20 minutes. pause for 2 minutes 3 seconds, then restart with no noise, and so on for hours and hours until the cry sensor is activated. br>br>3) The Customer Service is a joke! When I went to the Tommee Tippee website, I was told to contact them via their Facebook page. After sending an initial inquiry about the problems I was having, I received a VERY general response with a link to the product's instructions after several days. They didn't even respond to my question. br>br>So here I am, a week after spending $40 on a toy that I purchased specifically for the cry sensor, and it has either woken up my baby or rendered it useless. I can't return the box because it was thrown away. And, according to some Google searches, this appears to be a common problem with the new "improved" rechargeable Ollie, but not so much with the battery-operated Ollie.

I was really looking forward to this because it included all of the features I wanted (volume and light control, cry activation, and now exterior buttons). The cry sensor, on the other hand, was useless because when it was activated, the sound continued to play ALL NIGHT.

We have the owl and penguin at home/grandparents, and we forgot about them when we went on vacation. As a result, the rechargeable bear became a vacation lifesaver. It's fantastic for lulling small children to sleep.

The items were brand new when I purchased them, but they appear to have been used. One wasn't working, so I'm charging it right now to see if it will work. If you're selling something new, make sure the box it comes in is spotless. Aside from that, it appears that I am paying attention. et cetera et cetera et cetera et.

I don't like that it only plays for 20 minutes and that there isn't an option to make it play for longer than 20 minutes without sensing a cry, but other than that, it's fantastic.
