This small night light is one of my favorites. It looks great on my nightstand. I have a newborn and I'm currently using it for diaper changes and feedings in the middle of the night. The brightness can be adjusted, which is the best feature! I can adjust the brightness to suit my needs. I also like that if I need a little extra light, I can grab the little egg and use it as a flashlight to check things like diaper cleanliness or latch, and then put it back. In addition, my toddler is so enamored with it that he now wants one for his own room.
This is a cute night light, but it didn't work right out of the box (the egg would only light up when off the penguin; it would have been nice to have both the penguin and the egg lit up when plugged in/docked), and then after a week, it only worked when the egg was off the base, so nothing would light up when plugged in/docked. br>br>If it worked properly, it would provide the ideal amount of light for my toddler.
This lamp is absolutely adorable. I wanted to give it a higher rating, but the egg broke after one drop from our toddler (this is a lamp designed for toddlers, so I expected it to last longer). It will still turn on, but the brightness will not change. It's still adorable, but I'm disappointed that the brightness can't be adjusted. It's also a smidgeon too light - By pressing the on/off button, it can be easily pushed back and forth on the dresser.
This light has come in handy during my son's nightly feedings. Both the egg and the penguin have light settings that can be changed. It's wonderful not having to turn on a light or look at my phone to see what I'm doing. It's also bright enough to change diapers in the middle of the night with the egg.
It is a big hit with my three-year-old. br>I'm not sure why some of the reviews here from people who seem perplexed by this product are so negative; it's cute, well-made, and simple to figure out without even opening the instructions manual. In addition, it's a fantastic gift.
This night light is fantastic! My four-year-old enjoys using the egg as a "flashlight" to read books in the dark.
The charger is simple to use. The egg has enough light for reading and a simple/easy way to adjust the brightness level.
Great product that doesn't bother me when I'm sleeping, and it's especially useful if you have a newborn.
