Yes, the volume can be turned off on any setting, and there is also a setting where there is no volume and the colors cycle through. The only drawback is that in order to turn it off, you must turn the volume all the way up.
It is a Rock-based instrument. Bye- Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Baby, and the sound of a heartbeat. Although the sound quality is a little "tinny," it isn't bad.
On the side, there is a circle labeled "Touch Sensor," which you lightly press. Turning it on is, in my opinion, a little too simple.
The songs have a very basic sound, no words, and instruments that are difficult to distinguish.
Selected User Reviews For Portable Baby Soother, Night Light, and Star Projector in One - Lullaby Light Cube - w Touch Sensors - (Blue)
It's convenient because it's small, portable, and battery-operated. However, the on/off and sound "buttons" (which are simply activated by touch) work sometimes and not so well, so you're stuck tapping the thing all over the place trying to get it right. The sound quality is poor, and the pitch is nearly unbearable. I'd suggest using it as a nightlight or a small sound source if you need something temporary and inexpensive. However, I would never suggest it for long-term or permanent use. It isn't a particularly good product.
This lightweight night light is ideal for travel or simply moving from room to room. It only requires AA batteries and does not require a USB connection or an outlet. When traveling, this came in handy because some hotel rooms don't have enough outlets (because you've probably used them all to charge your electronics). You have complete control over the color, projection, and volume. The lack of an actual on/off switch was the only drawback for me. So, if it's not properly packed, it could turn on with a simple tap. It makes no difference; I'm going to use it anyway. My children enjoy it so much that they take turns choosing which color stars they want to see.
I really wanted to like this product, and I was pretty excited when I saw it on Amazon for a lightning deal. The feedback was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. My son needed a portable projector, and I had been looking for one. The green light's sound stopped working after one day of use. All of the other songs work for each of the other colors, but when the green light is turned on, all you hear is a mechanical clicking noise; I'm glad the other colors/songs work, because it would have been a complete waste of money otherwise. I would easily give this a 5-star rating if I didn't have this problem, especially so soon after receiving it. I really like how light it is. portable. The touch sensors are fantastic. However, I am unable to give it a positive rating. I hope the future is brighter for you! Perhaps I was given a lemon.
This lasted about a week before it ran out of steam. I've replaced the batteries, but it's still not working. There is a spot for a DC plug, but one is not included. It was a complete waste of money in my opinion. It would have been fantastic if it had lasted. I ended up paying more for an owl that does the same thing, and I'm still using the same batteries after a month. I should have just paid the extra money for the better item from the start.
On a whim, I purchased this for my 21-month-old son while it was on sale. I'm so glad I did because he absolutely adores it. He smiles as he hugs it and points to the stars. He appears to enjoy the cube and goes to bed more easily. The heartbeat noise does not appear to be a heartbeat to me; it's strange, but the songs are pleasant and the stars are attractive. I wish there was a button or something to turn it on instead of the strange touch sensors it uses, but it makes him happy, so I'm fine with it.
I really like it! It's what I used for my first child, and now it's what I'm using for my second. In addition to playing lullabies, it serves as a temporary nightlight until they fall asleep. Lullaby (Lullaby) moon projection as a source of nightlight a slew of stars in the room - There are a limited number of color options available. It has a significant impact on the atmosphere. soothes. It is beneficial to us.
This is a fantastic night light. The music is a little tinny, but that's to be expected in this genre. It's simple to transport from room to room, and it's simple to operate while holding your child and needing to turn it on. It travels well, but it could benefit from a switch to turn it off so it doesn't turn on by accident in a suitcase.
This is a fantastic concept. However, I wish the quality was higher. I like that there are a variety of colors to choose from, as well as the option to change the color. The musical portion was a little disappointing; the sound isn't great and it almost sounds like the speaker is blown. During the evening To project clearly, the light must be close to the wall. When shooting from a table or dresser to the ceiling, the image is very hazy. We can't project it onto a wall for baby to see while laying in his crib because of the way our nursery is set up.
