It's been on my door for a little over a month now, through rainstorms and wind, and the string hasn't broken! This is something I strongly suggest!.
Because I hung mine on the outside of my house, I only gave it four stars instead of five. I guess I wasn't paying attention and it fell. The star was easy to bend - It isn't a heavy metal star like some others. However, if you proceed with caution when hanging the star on the house's exterior, you'll be pleased with the result!.
These are very cute and would make excellent Fourth of July decorations, but they are quite small! They're about the same size as a salad plate. To give you an idea of scale, I photographed my hand (an average-sized woman's hand). Even after reading the reviews and the description, it was not quite what I expected. It's nicely painted and appears to be well-made for a metal item of this type. It's just that it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I measured and it was not 12" across.
I got a lot of compliments on it because it was so cute.
There were no delays in receiving it. br>When I got there, one of the star tips was bent; The metal, on the other hand, is easily bendable. When I bought this star, I was aware that it was hung from a fabric. I'm going to replace it with heavy cord or something else because the fabric doesn't match the star. br>Aside from that, I'm pleased with it and will display it on our front door during the patriotic seasons.
Although it appears to be of good quality, the metal is extremely thin and is not worth $33. I'll keep it because I need it for my front door this weekend, but it feels and looks like something you'd find at a discount store for half the price.
It's visually appealing, well-made, and the colors are accurate. It complements my navy blue front door perfectly. (Sherwin Williams, Naval).
It's not quite as big as I expected. It looks fantastic. It's not as big as I expected, but it's 16 inches long. 5". In person, it appears to be better than it appears on the internet.
