During a trade show, I met a representative from this company and bought them a set. The two have both been used on several cutting boards I have and I like the way they seal the wood. Compared to the wax, the cutting board oil is used quicker. I have also purchased additional bottles of cutting board oil. The two are well suited for each other.
As someone who has been doing fine woodworking for many years, I've found excellent finishing products for a variety of uses. For cutting boards, Walrus Oil and Wax are the best. These products are easy to apply, extremely effective, and long lasting.
Throughout the buying process, I was pleased with the finish and wax until I washed the cutting board. After washing the board, it was clear that the wax was gone and the finish was barely present.
