What are the pros and cons of this product?

As of now, I have not tested it on a river table, but I have used it over some knot holes in resin and it seems to work rather well.

If you apply wax to wood, does it stain the wood or do you need to apply an oil first? Was the oil you used for your pictures the same one you used for drawing?

I use it to oil my wood and then follow it up with osmo wax to bring out great colors and grain. * The photos are of maple and walnut, and you can see a good finish on them. The interface is simple and intuitive.
