Questions & Answers

Will these gloves react with standard oil paints and mediums used by artists?

I've been using these gloves for at least ten years when painting with oils, acrylics, and watercolors, pretty much all of the fine art paints and painting mediums, and I've never had an allergic reaction to any of them. My only complaint is that they get hot when I paint outside, but I still wear them for protection.

Is it true that the virus has nearly doubled the price? The price was $8 last month. It's now over $15 per box, up from 50 cents per box just a week ago. ?

The price of raw materials varies a lot from week to week, and even from day to day. (Like coffee or lumber, oil)br>I'm a retired hospital finance executive. Price fluctuations have been occurring since at least the 1980s, if not longer. br>Warning: This information is for informational purposes only. I do not work for or receive compensation from any medical supply or device manufacturer.

Do these gloves suds up when rubbed together or leave a white foamy residue on hard surfaces when they get wet? (Other gloves did the same thing unless they were washed.) ?

When they're wet, they're actually quite good. They do, however, change colors in some ways, which I've always thought was odd.

Is this a waterproof pair of gloves?

Unless there was a hole in it, I'd say they're waterproof. I'm not sure if you submerged them in water that was higher than the glove's cuff - I haven't tried it because I haven't tried it. However, I suppose it depends on how well they fit around your wrists. In addition, just to let you know - On these gloves, there is a significant difference in size between a small and a medium. I had originally purchased the mediums, and while they fit well, there was a slight gap above my fingertips (in other words, my fingertips did not reach the end of the glove's finger), which was a minor annoyance. As a result, when they were finished, I placed an order for the next box in small size. Now I have to wrestle with the gloves in order to get them on my hands. They're very close together. There is no longer any room at the tip of the finger. However, I suppose it's a trade-off. off. Aside from that, these gloves have served me well. They're quite sturdy, and the fingertips are incredibly flexible. It's lightly textured, which makes it easy to grip!

Exceptionally poor quality- At the Drop of a Hat, Tears
3/5

I've been using latex gloves in connection with our farming and retail operations for years, so I've got a good comparison point. This time, I decided to try Nitrile gloves, which I figured would be a bit more durable than latex. Despite the fact that this is my first time using nitrile gloves, I can't say I'm impressed. To begin with, these gloves have very little stretch, making them less comfortable than latex and extremely difficult to put on. Second, you'll have a lot more luck than I did if you can get these on without ripping them. They're not powdered, and they're impossible to put on if your hands are even slightly damp (which they usually are on a hot day). Third, even if your hands are bone dry, these gloves will most likely tear before you can even put them on. Really. That's how flimsy they are. My experience yesterday, when it took nine tries (count 'em, NINE) and nine different gloves to get ONE glove on without tearing it, prompted this review. I then went to work pulling weeds, and within five minutes, two fingers on one hand had broken through, and the glove on the other had torn clear in half. I was inspired to write this review because I'm tired of manufacturers releasing defective, low-quality products in the hopes that if even a small percentage of them is returned, the vast majority of customers will not complain. I work hard for my money, and I'm afraid it's too late to return these, but here's a BIG FAT ONE- ONE STAR REVIEW to make it clear that I am one of the consumers who will not be purchasing these products again.

Gloves are good, but the color is a little too big for me
4/5

For a long time, I've been buying AMMEX nitrile gloves, primarily for use in home food preparation. I had previously purchased in black, but decided to go with blue this time because of the lower price (same brand, same material, expected same fit). These gloves are of the same quality (thickness, etc. ) as the black nitrile gloves I purchased previously, but the size is different. I ordered a small, as I had with the black gloves previously, and the blue color is significantly larger. They're too big for my hands and have a lot of excess material that extends past my fingertips. Because the sizing was so dissimilar, I double-checked both my order and the box, thinking I'd gotten a medium or large by mistake (which I hadn't - see below). The box is clearly labeled as a small size). Because they're too big to safely use in meal prep (too much excess material, sliding around on my hands), and I'd already opened the package, I ended up giving these gloves away. I'm not sure if this was a one-time occurrence or if sizing does differ by color. Otherwise, I've had a good time with the AMMEX nitrile gloves so far.

Amazing amex purchase made in a stealthy manner
5/5

AMEX gloves have always been a favorite of mine. Given the current state of affairs, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that these gloves were available for purchase. What happened was that I went out to purchase them. and, of course, it's out of stock because - well, you know. COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, and so forth Days pass, and I continue to check back every few days / hours /- I was checking to see if they were in stock or what was going on with the gloves, and all of a sudden they were, and I was able to purchase them! I'm so excited that I buy three boxes right away, and I'm not disappointed in the least. I went in the next day, surprised that I could buy them, to see if they were still available, and HA, it said available for COVID- 19 PERSONALE AND OTHER THINGS ONLY/UNAVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE/WTF / SEE BUYING OPTIONS OR SOME WEIRD SHEET So I got these gloves before they put the restrictions on them HAA, which I was pretty happy about 10/10 would buy them again (if possible) (before you throw an entire salt cube at me, I work in hospice care and also try to stay germ/virus free in public because I have asthma). Apart from that, there's not much else to say. jumbo. The quality of these gloves is unrivaled. They are long-lasting, dependable, and attractive. There's nothing I can't do with them. Buy them. If at all possible.

It's quite frail
3/5

I usually get my gloves from Costco, but they stopped carrying the size Small near me, so I bought these after doing a lot of research (I love Amazon reviews and use them to make all of my purchases). These are only passable. Even though my hands are soft and my nails aren't sharp, some of these gloves have ripped. They appear to be thinner, and the thickness is listed as 4mm, but that could just be on the fingertips, which are slightly thicker and have small bumps for grip. Handling certain foods (raw meat, onions, garlic, basically anything really oily, stinky, or any raw meat) and harsh chemicals (nail polish remover, cleaning solutions, acidic skincare, etc. ) necessitates the use of gloves. br>I'm not sure I'll buy any more of these. My search for durable nitrile gloves that fit my small hands is still going on.

I've bought 12 boxes of nitrile gloves from Dynarex or SafeTouch in the last three years, and they've all been disappointingly SHODDY
3/5

I bought a box of Ammex Professional Series Nitrile Exam Gloves on August 10th. br>MFG LOT: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the SHIPMT: 287B8015br>SHIPMT: 287B8015br>SHIPMT: 287B8015 RS17648br>This purchase has left me extremely disappointed. Putting them on is enough to break them! I purchased a size small, which is a good fit for me (female, 5'5", 130 lbs). Three out of four gloves broke the last time I tried. On my fourth attempt, I was successful. The rest of the gloves were thrown away because they were useless.

For delicate little hands doing household chores and dishwashing
5/5

I don't use those big dishwashing gloves because they slip out of my hands and I can't tell if the dish soap is cleanly rinsed off. These disposable latex-free gloves are one of my favorites. To clean my house without harming my hands from household cleaning products, I was given free gloves. I also wear these to avoid getting gunk under my fingernails while emptying the vacuum cleaners. I do, however, purchase them in bulk for obvious reasons: Good luck with your cleaning!.

Cooking, cleaning, and arts and crafts gloves are ideal
5/5

When I need to handle something that I don't want to come into contact with my skin, I reach for these gloves. This includes cleaning as well as the arts. I use them for crafts projects, but I mostly use them when handling/preparing food. The gloves keep my hands, fingers, and nails clean and free of any odors associated with chopping onions/garlic, marinating, and mixing meat (especially underneath). Because of the grip, I've also found that these gloves come in handy when I'm having trouble opening a jar. The durability is exceptional. Because I haven't had any rips or tears while using this product.
