Questions & Answers
To tell you the truth, I have no recollection of it. It has been removed from my possession. It was extremely small and squishy. PharMedoc Lower Back Pain Pillow was the one that I ordered. This is one of my favorites. And yes, there is a cover for this one.
I believe it has more to do with weight. Because of my weight, my physical therapist recommended going down a size.
Soft. For me, there is far too much softness.

I'm currently working on two semi-finished projects. The physical therapist advised me to sit with a firm roll behind me because I had herniated discs. I attempted to roll towels but found them to be too soft. The adjustable strap allows you to slip this lumbar roll over the back of your chair or car seat. I can't tell you how many times I've sighed with relief when I saw how the lumbar roll helped me get my back into the proper position.
This item is far too small and flimsy to be useful. It does not provide adequate back support, and there was no indication on Amazon that it was not returnable, and it's unclear why it isn't. This purchase has left me unsatisfied. I plan to file a complaint with Amazon to get to the bottom of why non-returnable items are not clearly marked.
Edit***
This company's customer service is excellent, and despite the fact that the product was listed as non-returnable, the company provided me with a full refund, and I appreciated their assistance and support in resolving my issue! I've bought other products from OPTP in the past and find them to be a great source for therapy-related products. They will be used again in the future. br>br>The item was smaller than I had anticipated and was not returnable. I bought two different lumbar pillows for my car, planning to return the one that didn't fit. This one was a little too small and squishy for me, but I discovered it was not returnable when I went to the return section. I suppose I'll read the fine print on every Amazon purchase I make because some items aren't returnable for no apparent reason. It was a poor product, and I would not have purchased it if I had seen it in a store. I use Amazon to buy things because I can return them easily and without question if they aren't what they claim to be.
It looks like they grabbed a scrap of foam from the warehouse floor, wrapped it in plastic, and stuffed it into a nylon bag. It appears as if trash was stuffed into the cover. It has a "No Return" policy for a reason: any reasonable person would return it. When I realized I wouldn't be able to return it, I tossed it in the trash. What a load of nonsense.
I've had an original McKenzie lumbar roll for a long time and bought this one as a backup, but it's far too soft. This is not as durable as a travel pillow purchased at an airport. It doesn't offer any help.
I bought a few different lumbar supports to see which one would work best for me, but this one was too small for most chairs and moved around a lot even with the strap. This item is non-returnable, so make sure you want it. If I had paid attention to the information buried in the listing, I would never have purchased. I'm making a charitable contribution to Goodwill.
The majority of lumbar support devices are far too large and thick for my needs. So far, this has proven to be quite beneficial.
My physical therapist suggested this to me as a way to improve my spinal posture. I've got a few of them now, and they do seem to help (just make sure your butt is fully retracted in the chair).
