I bought this item with the intention of using it with a power recliner because I was told I'd have to sleep sitting up for several weeks after surgery. I already owned a low-cost semi-automated vehicle. Although I had a soft foam lumbar pillow, I was confident that this one would be more supportive, and it was. However, it was a little too accommodating for my requirements. I decided to use my older lumbar pillow (which was a little too soft) instead of this pillow (which was too firm) after testing both. I gave this pillow to my cousin, who works from home and was approaching his peak demand period, during which he could easily work 12 - 14 hours a day. At times, I've worked for up to 15 hours in a row. He'd already invested in a higher-quality office chair that included lumbar support - That wasn't helping him at all. He gave this one a try and was very pleased with it. This support pillow is very well made, and the strap options allowed him to position it where it would be most beneficial to him. It is also strong enough to support his back for many, many hours. (My previous one was nothing more than a zippered cover over foam. ) It's extremely supportive and adjustable, making it ideal for office workers. This would be an excellent purchase for you if you use it for this purpose (or if you drive long distances and need a firmer lumbar support). This is ideal for knowledge workers or long-distance driving.

They never seem to have enough support in the areas where I need it, and they are never firm enough. First and foremost, I purchased a fantastic Serta leather chair from Sam's. It either doesn't have a way to adjust the back up or I haven't figured it out, but my back wasn't directly on it. I knew I'd need a lumbar support at some point, and I really like this one. Why? Because it has a super-soft washable cover on top of a firm memory foam core. It slants just right to support my lower back, and when I move it up, it feels great on my upper back and aids in my posture! I feel like I could sit in my new chair all day long with this back support! I'm fortunate in that I now work for myself. So, who wants to take a break in the first place? I'm a workaholic, no doubt about it. It adjusts to the chair and is secured with straps. Nice buy! If anything changes, I'll make sure to let you know.

My back issues with this chair have been resolved thanks to this, as well as the addition of a Seat Cushion. Rather than spending $500 or more on an office/gaming chair that may or may not meet my needs. I first tried a chair that had good reviews but wasn't too expensive; it was well-made, but after only a few minutes of use, my upper and lower back hurt. The Sparthos lumbar support pillow was then added, which helped a little but didn't completely solve the issue. All of my problems were solved when I added some cushioned arm rests and a Purple seat cushion. So all in all, I spent around $450, and I doubt you'll find a more comfortable chair for any price, and the Sparthos support pillow will suffice if you need lumbar support.

I bought a high-end office chair a few years ago because I sit up to 6-hours per day. I sat in it for 7 hours a day (sometimes more), but it never provided adequate lumbar support, so I began placing a folded pillow behind my back, but eventually decided to look for a new chair, willing to pay up to $400. Those with adequate lumbar support were otherwise unsatisfied and chose to purchase this type of solution. This pillow is fantastic, and the double straps allow you to position it (and keep it) precisely where you want it. My chair has finally reached its full potential.

The adjustable straps slide around easily, and I'm worried they'll loosen up, but it hasn't moved from where I put it. Although a different material for the outermost layer you lean against might be more beneficial, it appears that the inner cushion has breathable holes that provide some air cooling. It's just a matter of personal taste, but the majority of people prefer this type of material, or even something warmer. Still, it's a good deal, and I'd suggest it.

It's everything I'd hoped for and then some! Sitting at a computer is painful for me because I have lower back problems. That's the direction the Sparthos pillow goes. The elastic straps were perfect, and the extension straps were a good idea even though I didn't need them. It's a five-star product without a doubt.
