I haven't tried sleeping on my stomach with a lumbar pillow. In my car, it performs admirably. It'd make me feel uneasy. It has a great deal of backing. I would recommend it if you require stability or pressure on your lower back.
It was well worth the money. I bought a few of these high-quality products. lumbar support that has been expertly crafted.

On my recliner, I've experimented with a variety of lumbar support cushions. This is the first one that appears to work without being too high or sinking into the recliner's crevices. It's extremely comfortable, and I've had it for over a month.
I use it in my car and have also used it in my recliner at home. This is something I wish I had known about YEARS ago! For work, I purchased a $50 seat/back cushion combo, but it pales in comparison to this pillow. I'm going to place a second order right away! This pillow maintains its shape and hasn't sagged in the least.
Because my back hurts when I lie on my side in a bed, I prefer to sleep in my recliner. I bought it because I was going on a road trip and knew I'd have to sleep in a variety of beds. It has a significant impact! The "indentations" in the waist are ideal for sleeping on my side. . . they're very supportive and comfortable. I was ecstatic to discover how well it works! Now I can sleep in any bed and not feel 100 years old when I wake up!.
This was purchased for me to use at church because the pews are extremely uncomfortable for me. The first hour was fine, but the small "ridge" in the middle of the pillow began to bother me during the second hour. I had already decided to return it by the time I got home. My husband then took it and sat in his recliner with it. He said it was the best back support pillow he'd ever had after a few days of use. The ridge, he said, was ideal for pushing his spine into better alignment. Both of us suffer from lower back pain, but for very different reasons. It only goes to show how unique everyone is. I deducted a star because it isn't appropriate for everyone.
It takes some time to get used to. I use it in my bed as well as in my recliner. A little on the pricey side.

Too rigid, too large, and too high. For the record, I am a petite woman (5'4" and 135 pounds). As a result, it could be beneficial to someone. br>br>I'm not sure why there's a raised middle section; when I lie on my back, my belly button is raised too high, almost as high as my head. It's extremely uncomfortable and stretches the skin on my stomach. Reduce lumbar pain at all costs. br>br>(Also, I'd be surprised if any of these products stayed in place when you woke up the next morning. ) )br>br>Two stars for side sleeping, however; if you lie on your side and lie on the lower area, this is quite supportive.
My lower back pain in the Lumbar area was relieved by using a mouse pillow. It's a very comfortable chair that's also very simple to use.
