Part of the issue was that I was still in pain when I sat down, and I couldn't get comfortable. I went to an urgent care center, received injections, and felt a little better, but the underlying problem persisted. Sitting down, whether in one of their luxury chairs at work or in my own chair at home, didn't bring me any relief. Until I decided to buy it. Based on the reviews, I chose this and was pleasantly surprised by how firm it was. There's a lot of foam in it. It has been of great assistance, and I am now able to sit without pain. It's with me at all times. This is something I would recommend to anyone who is suffering from severe back pain.

I bought it to use as a lower back lumbar support. At first glance, the item appears to be well-made, but beauty is only skin deep in this case. Over the last few years, I've had a number of memory foam mattresses and pillows. So I expected this to be similar to my previous experience with the material, but it isn't. Memory foam was used, but it was as hard as a brick. It takes a lot of force to get it to give, so it's not suitable for me or anyone else in our house. br>br>I chose this one over the others because of the high number of positive reviews. I'm wondering if something has changed in the manufacturing process or even the supplier? We can't use it no matter how or why, and that is ultimately what matters.

I work as a software developer, so you can imagine how much time I spend in front of a computer each day. I have a degenerated disc in my back that gives me back spasms now and then; it had gotten so bad that I was working from home with my laptop laying on my back to avoid the pain. I stretch on a regular basis, which helps, but sitting for extended periods of time causes my back to stiffen - Despite the fact that I get up on a regular basis. br>br>After looking at a few of these products, I decided to go with this one because of the positive reviews. It's made a world of difference in my life. It provides excellent support and is extremely comfortable to wear. Because the strap is adjustable, you can wear it higher or lower to suit your needs. I was concerned about how I would get through the day sitting down before receiving this assistance, but that is no longer the case. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude.

TIP: This is the perfect blend of faux tempedic material and enough stability to provide adequate support. This should not be placed against the back of your chair, where it rests on the bottom of your chair. Adjust it as you sit so that it fits into the small of your back, which is usually a couple of inches from the chair's seat. br>br>This was recommended by my OT and PT, and I bought a second for my mother as a mother's day gift (I know, not flowers and manicures, but hey, it's pretty practical). br>br>I like how soft it is, and it comes with a carrying case that can be used to transport it to the car, office, movie theater, or church. I have no qualms about dragging this guy around. You don't even need the bag because it has a small handle. br>br>It also has a buckle to secure the seat, but I don't find it particularly useful. I was skeptical at first, but my physical therapist assured me that it was safe to use even on a soft couch or chair. In fact, we are frequently "tricked" into believing that a softer surface is better, but while it is more comfortable, it lacks the necessary support area. br>br>With back issues being the most common cause of pain these days, this is a great investment at only $30, and it's deductible as a medical expense if your doctor says you need one (no prescription required).

Many people have complained about how firm this item is, which is why I bought it. There are far too many soft lumbar pillows on the market. When I'm sitting in a recliner, I use it to keep my lumbar support. This "pillow" is firm, so if you need to provide support in a chair with a hole in the lumbar area like a recliner, it may suit your needs well. I could see it being too much for an office chair or other chair where upright seating is the normal function and the user only wants "soft" lumbar support. I've only had it for a week, so I can't speak to its long-term viability, but it doesn't seem to have lost any firmness, and I weigh 210 pounds. br>br>It collapses a little, but it bounces back, just like any other memory foam. For my purposes, I would prefer it to be about twice the thickness, but this is the only foam back pillow I've found on Amazon that doesn't completely flatten out.

This pillow was exactly what I had hoped for! It's a good back support pillow that's not too firm or forceful for comfort, and it's exactly what I need because it gently coaxes me into sitting in a position that's right for me. That's why I've been suffering from back pain for so long. I became sluggish and slouched forward in my chair far too much and for far too long! To strengthen my back muscles, I need to develop good habits for sitting straight. I've only had it for about a week, but it's already made a difference. It's not something I use on a regular basis. I'll sit with it for a while before getting up and doing something else to engage different muscles. So far, I'm very happy with it. I can tell it's starting to feel like "my" pillow, and I'm not having to get up as much because of pain and stiffness. When I stand up, my back is in good shape. For me, it was a wise investment. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and have no regrets. This is exactly what I'm looking for! It isn't as big as some of the others I've read about, which I appreciate. I don't think it needs to be any bigger. I'm not particularly tall, but I consider myself to be a strong individual. This pillow is a good match for me.
